Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.10

First - an apology... I have been such a slacker of late... Well, not really, but until today I have been sworn to secrecy... Our company just made its third acquisition of the year - and we are hoping for 4 (yes, really) more. So, while I have not been on the boards much, it is because of work and the kids activities.

Sarah - I still owe you scans. I think I need to rescan as the drive they were on is caput. I had cruise pics there as well, so my scrapbook is on hold for a bit...

Thanks Sue! Still no sign of the parcel! I haven't got my pc at the mo anyway - typing this in work lol!

Can anyone give advise.....
Len bought me a snow globe for my birthday on the ship..
I unwrapped it on friday and tinks head was knocked of, I had it in hand luggage and had been so careful, I overreacted and got upset, man Ive had an interesting week.... anyway, it wasnt expensive but really, it should have been in a box not just bubble wrap, would they mail me another, should I glue her head back on what do you think, maybe next year I can buy another, it was only 25 bucks but well, it was my birthday.

You know I told you the snow damaged my porch roof, guy was out last week, well theve stopped making that kind of roof, only 5 years old, I have to get a whole new roof, so I went looking for my house insurance policy, couldnt find it, turns out as far as I can see they have stopped taking the direct debit a year or two ago and I didnt notice, well its only once a year, so weve no buildings insurance what an idiot I am , so I dont know whther to be pissed about the roof or grateful the house never went on fire.

Oh my God! Sorry Lynne! Sounds like a very bad week! I would definately go with sticking it for now and then try and get another one next year for the snow globe.

As for the roof - don't you just hate things like this? My sister had her boiler burst once only to find out her insurance had lapped 2 months before! Its an awful feeling! Big hugs

Amy I am open to bring Flat Amy and Dave, as long as there is a Flat Mel as well... Kimberly - does Ivana have a cousin? Ivana Cedamouse maybe? All are welcome - if you send me one I will not disappoint! Actually - Please PLEASE email me one - I would love to do this!!!! What a riot!!! Thanks for the suggestion!!

I haven't seen a flat mel in at least 36 years!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm reading but not posting much. My mom is not doing well and requires someone with her 24/7 to get her up into her wheelchair and out again, prepare her food, etc. That would be me with Dennis' help. We are in Chehalis, WA and do not know how long we will be here since her doctors have not come up with a diagnosis/prognosis but she is getting weaker in her legs each day. We see the neurologist again Wed and we pray that he will have some ideas to help us decide what we need to do......assisted living, nursing home???? We just don't know so we are here in her home trying to make the best of it. :sad2:

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that I am finally getting some answers about my Vertigo. After getting an MRI done, which was negative. They did see a lot of lesions from all of the migraine headaches I have had in my life, but no tumor. Then an Ophthalmologist wanted to rule out Myasthenia Gravis because for about five weeks I had had double vision. Then I had a Videonystagmography test also called a VNG test done.
This one involved wearing goggles with a cover on and I would do various eye tests. It also involved having cold air blown into my ears and then warm air. That was very intense and my head hurt the whole next day. The one thing was that she also tested my hearing and told me it was perfect. That made me very happy.
The end result is that I definitely have an inner ear problem. So my ENT does not feel that intense physical therapy would help me, so he is referring me to another ENT specialist at Johns Hopkins. Not sure when that will happen, but I told him I wanted to get aggressive about this because I want answers. This is getting very frustrating not knowing how I am going to feel day to day.
Otherwise, my daughter Guenna is doing good with her pregnancy and miss Vivian Olivia is doing just fine. It is weird tho that right now she thinks she has an inner ear infection!!!!

I finally put a ticker on my signature cause I told all of the doctors that I will not give up my cruises. I am getting very excited since I have not seen Disneyland since 1968 and I think maybe it has changed a little??? :rolleyes1:lmao::cool1::rotfl:
