Hi all - took a while to catch up on the reading for today. Ya'll have been busy!

Donna - (tia) - from our weather forecasts here in the foothills, looks like Ophelia is heading your way. They are saying it is back to a hurricane and may stall around Wilmington or Ocean Isle. I know Jacksonville's not too far away. Are you feeling any effects right now?? I am praying that you and your family will still be able to fly out on Friday. Ever thought about driving and leaving early??? Hope all is well with you.

Hope everyone else is okay. I need to make my green yarn "bracelets" tonight. I am partially packed and will finish on Thursday while I'm off. Also have to get traveler's checks and cash in the change we've been saving.

The diet fell through - oh well - ya'll will just have to put up with 2 fatties!!
No need to stress out over it now!

OK guys... waiting for dh to get home from work so we can head to San Jose tonight. I think I've remembered everything, and if not, hopefully we'll remember before Saturday so we can get stuff while we're at WDW.

No green yarn here, so you'll have to rely on my picture... I'll be on the lookout for as many of you as I can.

I still haven't filled out our cruise docs, but they are in my purse. I'll take care of it when we get settled at the BCV.

Bummer about St. Thomas. I was really looking forward to walking off the ship and touring. Did the old dock suffer damage or something? Is there still a posibility that we may end up docking there or is it no longer in use? Oh well, I was planning on taking a taxi to that Coral World anyway. Wonder if we are closer to that now.

OK, it is getting close and I am getting really excited!!!!

The old dock is filled. There are 3 other cruise ships docking the same day as we are and Disney is lucky to get a dock at all. Apparently before the new dock they were tendering people in.

Coral World is further away. Sub Base (where the dock is) is west of Frenchtown which is west of Charlotte Amalie. Coral World is North and East of Charlotte Amalie. Something like this:

My three kids 2years (turning 3 on 23rd), 4 years and 7 years, my sis, my mom and dad and I all cruising. It is our first Disney cruise and we are excited! See you all there!

Welcome adismom! We're getting down to the final few days and everyone is excited. There are lots of things happening with this group. Feel free to jump in anytime. Jen and Jenny's signature lines have all the details about the group. We've got a website with pictures. We've setup meetings and fun happenings throughout the cruise. We're all planning on being a bit silly - and having a lot of fun.

My DD is 4, is your 4 year old a girl or boy? There are lots of other kids around the group too (take a look at the website www.flipfloppincastaways.com). There is a kids page that shows all the kids by age.

My DD is now a cast member on the Magic. The 9/17 will be her second cruise. Her name is Robin, in Treasure Ketch. Tell her Mom says "Hi!" if you see her. I'm sure she must be feeling a little homesick by now. Thanks!

Okay, I will clear up the Frank and Lola thing once and for all......

Please don't anyone feel left out, this is how it happened. we all know and love our strange oyster sucking, balcony smoke blowing, aphrodisiac, navy man Frank. many a converastion behind the scenes on if he is for real.....The other day, after the movie listing by Robert(?) (thank you by the way) Frank posted saying "Thanks for the information on the movies. My KIDS have been asking. MISSY

Immediately, knowing Missy as I do, our resident prankster, I KNEW it was her. SO I PMed her and she confirmed.
I thought I would leave it and see if anyone else would catch it, but she edited her post so not a lot of people saw it. That is why some figured it out and others didn't know.
Jenny did explain this already but some people must have still been lost.
Anyway, Hats off to Missy...You got us.....and dare I say thank goodness Frank is only one of your personalities!

I got on your cool website and looked at the kids page. My son (4) was so excited for me to read about all the other kids. Brayden had all the right info and Jamison is sure he is his new best friend. My other two (ages 2 and 7 ) are both girls.

Well, I got a note to from the DIS board principle (aka moderator). I put a website in with spaces and she said, basically, please don't try to break the rules. Other people have done that and not gotten their posts deleted, and I wasn't TRYING to break the rules. Ignorance is no excuse, I know, but it still made me feel badly. I do appreciate being made aware of the rule, and the funny thing it was a thread started by Christal that Wendy and Mark posted on.

Glad the Frank and Lola thing got cleared up!

ETA: She explained they try to catch these, so I don't feel singled out anymore.

I don't remember exactly what the rule is. I've received one of those before too. But there are certain websites that you can't post, for those I think you can still PM the person the site, you just can't post it on the main board.

You can't post links to sites that are FOR PROFIT - which the site I posted was. And I asked, Emily, about doing it via PM - she said that's against the rules too but harder to catch.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone isn't stressed over packing like I have been the last two days. I am all packed up now and I hope I didn't miss anything. My husband checked our bags to make sure I didn't take the blender like I did last year. I can't believe I took a blender! Someone on the boards posted that it is a good thing to take a blender to mix drinks, I can't believe I fell for it. I never used it and we lugged it around down there for ten days last year. I learned a valuable lesson though, pack light. I'll check back tomorrow.
