Donna, I recommend shopping in St. Thomas. Right at the dock is Havensight Mall. It has a least 6 buildings I think, the store entrances are on the outside. When I say mall, don't think traditional mall. You could do all your shopping there. Alot of the stores Disney recommends are right there. Great place to buy all your jewelry, watches and liquor.

Donna, I am excited about Eastern, too! We were supposed to do this last year but H***** reroute! I am excited about the different islands. I am not much of a shopper (HA, but I buy clothes) so I can't help you out. I PMed you back about the 10 year olds. Is your son and old 10 or a young one?

Pam, Hope having company went well. Company is the best way to teach the theory of relativity. If your best friend is visiting...it flies by, if you mil (okay MY MIL) is visiting....a week feels like a year!

I just found a deal at Target. Our target has a huge travel (small things) section....a whole isle. In it they have a lot of >24 cent things.....30 count bandaids, 25 count of ibuprphin, 1oz of suncreen, anyway things that are way cheaper than they would be if you bought a big version. They also have those thumb size travel tubes full of Aleve for .24 cents...so I bought a bunch of them, covered them with masking tape and filled them with whatever I needed (tums, childrens advil, benedryl) and relabeled them. now they take up hardly any room. Only my true friends on this board would even PRETEND that that was interesting at all. Fascinating!

The sea days are the reason we chose Eastern this time. It sounded like it would be more relaxing. Any advice on shopping or excursions?? The count down is on!!

Donna, we're doing the Golden Eagle Catamaran on St. Maarten. Since it's an early excursion, we might go on our own to the Butterfly Farm. Then we're going on our own to St. John when we dock at St. Thomas. Going on our own will give us 4 hours at SJ, versus the 1.5 we'd get on a DCL excursion. The GEC sounds like a lot of fun - people rave about it on the boards.

I don't know how much shopping we'll do.

For the record, Jen, I actually did care about your post because I was thinking, hmmm, does our target have that? I'm glad you found a bargain.

It's such a different experience posting when I'm at work because on these computers, my smilies move! At home they don't (apparently our router serves as a firewall so they don't move). So now I'm seeing the witch move; at home, she's all scrunched down and looks like one of the other bouncy smilies with a costume on.

Jen, those bottles are so small -- what if you run out of the medication you need? Ha ha ha. That is something I would obsess abt. But my kiddo is still taking most of her meds by liquid. Bubble gum flavored ______ (inser appro. med.)

I cannot share in the photo excitement -- Surfcontrol blocks me here. Must remember to look at home. My DH does karaoke, but I don't know if he'd do it on board?!

I got my FFC shirts and they look great! My DH dissed me b/c I asked him if my tank top was too tight and should I get a bigger size? He said, "no, you like your t-shirts tight." He CAN be very funny.

So you are THAT kind of girl, huh. Wearing things skin tight. Seriously, do they run small? Should I order larger than I think for me? That makes me nervous and is a good reason to order now, in case I need to return and re-order.
As far as the medication goes...they hold about 12 advil, so it is fine for the what if drugs...the "not if but when drugs" go in more than one. Seriously, I don't have any daily drugs, and I am terrible at taking vitamins! I have to have my in case drugs so i tend to take the medicine cabinet!

Jen you did an awsome job as always...

Left eye is now on steriods, something flew in it Friday night thought I got it out...slept in it Sat. morning I couldn't open eye. So any way, new glasses had to be ordered, no contacts for possibly 1-2 weeks UGH!!!
Might as well bought new tires for the car!!!!!! Just happy no more damanaged was done than was. Have to go back Monday for follow up.

Great news about Target...will have to check that out!!

Christal - congats on the possible new job. One question though is are you going to try and get your Architectural License? If so you will have to practice under a licensed Architect for several years before you can take your test (you may know this already but wanted to make sure). If you need any advice or have any questions please feel free to ask me.

Jen - as far as the Karaoke thing goes, yes I "do karaoke" but I do not "sing karaoke" Would not want anyone to get the wrong impression that I can sing.. Maybe that depends on your definition of "singing".

Definitely THAT kind of girl. Funny thing is -- when I was young enough to maybe pull it off, I wore everything baggy. Now that I'm more mature, I go for the skin tight look.

I got the white tank. I don't know if it runs small -- I seem to keep putting on weight but continue to order my same ole size. My guess is they run true to size. DH's T seemed right. As did DD's. Let's just say I'm ok, but probably not a good idea to wash and dry it BEFORE the cruise.

Hi everyone! I just got home from work and I have one heck of a headache. I ordered that rolling cooler from disney direct a week ago and I got it today, it was bigger than I thought it would be. I'm going to buy some wine and beer to take it one with us because my mom likes certain kinds of wine. I think I'm going to make up a gift basket for their room as a surprise. Does anyone else do this? Well, I get to watch my two nephews tomorrow with all four of my kids so I think I better get some sleep. It isn't bad when I am home with them but I need to take all of them to the orthodontist! We need to decide what to do with little Alison's mouth. She is missing part of her jaw so they need to rebuild it. I just hope they can do it before she starts school next year. Well, have a nice day tommorrow everyone. I will, I have the day off, well except for six kids all day. Oops, not a day off!

We're going to do something similar to your gift basket idea. But it will be for older kids and a four year old, not baskets due to the bulk. My DH swears that we'll need an extra suitcase just for the stuff I'm taking for my surprise gifts. I think it's a great idea.... I love to do stuff like that

My DD has told my DGS that this is part of his B-day present, well you tell a four year old that and he thinks PARTY!! With MICKEY!!! So now debating doing a party package or not.....it just never ends Like I said someone open my wallet and hand DCL all my money.... Whew!!!

Eye is slowly getting better..think I had a dream of my eyeball pumping iron must have been after I dropped the steriod drops in it.

Will let you know when order comes in ordered two shirts DH, me, journal, DD tank, GDS shirt todler. Oh yeah..when were we wearing these?? was it at the Birthday party???? I've done forgot..Thankfully Jenny will make us all our suction cup notes to not forget while on board..

Tammy, I don't know that we decided when we will wear our T's?! I was thinking around the ship with shorts for as many days as possible until it gets too dirty for me to stand! Seriously though, we should maybe come up with a time on the first or second at sea day and try to get a group photo? Ene an unofficial one? Meaning I'd be ahppy to take with my digital and e-mail to everyone post-cruise. Did I say post-cruise? That is just too depressing to think abt -- esp since I doubt we'll cruise next year. Yee. Must immediately change mindset.

Lorra, watching 6 kids sounds a lot harder than work-work. My DD crawled in bed with me just 30 mins ago or so and while I wanted to get up, it was just so nice cuddling with her and bittersweet knowing how fast it goes.

Not much is new here in Ohio-land. I'm quite pleased to be able to say:

Next month we cruise!!!!!!!! Yes, indeed, that does feel good.

I'm also on glasses duty, Tammy. My poor planning and Walmart's stupid reordering policy landed me without any for a week. At least I can see, but it feels inconvenient. Oh well.

Where is everyone today?

I don't think we did decide when to wear the shirts. I respectfully submit the idea of wearing them on Sunday. We can give ourselves free advertising during the cabin tour! I can put it on the reminder signs if that's what we go with.

Any new takers on the door magnets? Be sure to check out post 1250 page 84 if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Wendy, I sent the lady who designed those pics a PM. Let's see what she says about me using them for door signs.
