I just looked at the list and I want to say that I am sorry to all of you for making you come down to the basement to drop off our goodies. We are the only ones on deck 2 participating in the fish exchanger.

I made mine out of an old pair of Mickey bibbed overalls. Had to do a little sewing.

Has anyone seen the thread that has the fish extenders made with Duct Tape. gotta love duct tape.

Some people make them, some people buy them on Ebay or Etsy, and some people (like me!) just hang a bag from the hook outside the door!

This is SOOOO me. I had grand plans. But as the day approached I didn't have time to do anything fancy. All I did was sew on a Mickey Mouse that I bought from a local fabric store. I may just actually have time to do something different this cruise. But honestly, the canvas bag was perfect! The standard divided FE's that are so pretty don't really help hold bulk items. There were several treat bags that were in our FE that would not have fit into some of the FE's I've seen posted. I also go through the trouble of putting a couple of clothes pins on mine. That way if someone strolling by wants to help themselves, they would be put through the trouble of removing the pins. So far, no gifts taken from the FE.

I also had grand plans for designing my own and never got around to it. I agree that some FE pockets are not suited for certain sized gifts. As it turned out, our tall canvas bag really fit the bill! On our last cruise, we were the last cabin all the way at the back of the ship, so I didn't think too much about things getting stolen (it would be a long walk to steal some dollar store items!). But the clothes pin idea is a good one. I know I had magnets I really wanted to put on our door, but I heard magnets were hot commodities, and I would have been upset if they were stolen. So we didn't put anything outside our cabin except our FE bag.

Need good vibes. Just spent 2 hours on the phone with the travel agent, plus another 2 with Disney, than another with all of us on a teleconference. All I wanted to do was add 1 person to the cheapest room possible and it turned into World War 3. The ship is not full for goodness sakes. Why did they want to charge me $800 to add one child? UGH. Anyway. Worked out eventually. I just need good vibes to get back into the spirit. Right now, I am in such a @)#$#)$*@)#* Disney place. Reminds me of the Anger Management movie

This will be my first time doing the FEs too. I made mine out of felt. If you look back a few pages my sis LenaN4fun posted a pic of hers. Mine is similar. I am personally not tagging mine but you can do what ever you want. Be creative and just have fun with it.

Hi everyone. We are moving rooms. I don't know which one yet. We added my son Spencer, aged 11, to the group. I will update when our room is assigned.

On a side note, I also have a couple of silver lanyards if anyone needs them. I sent a bunch to other cruisers and have 2 left over now. I can bring them with and hand deliver. They don't get any special attention but they are handy.

I think I saw u mention this on another post on dis boards. U also mentioned that they had to mention you weren't a fl resident? Or is this a common problem?

I have no idea if it's a common problem. This is the first time that I have been so completely irritated at the treatment I received. Just because I have to fly to the cruise, instead of drive from a residence in Florida, I get charged more because I'm not a resident??????? Seriously. It is what it is. Deep breaths.

We are adding to our magnets for this trip. We do a Toy Story theme, but my husband wants to add Jiminy Cricket and Pluto, so there goes our theme! It will be fun anyways, but if you see my door and you're thinking "Jiminy was NOT in Toy Story! WTH?" now you know why.

Step in Time is just amazzzzzzzzzzzing! I can't wait to see it again (did I mention from the 4th row??? They offered me first but I thought it might actually be better from a few rows back! )

We were in orchestra seating too - it was my birthday present so we splurged. It was a great spot, but I guess it depends on the theater. Sometimes closer is not always better b/c you might have flat floors up front (so heads are literally in front of you) OR you might have stadium seating which makes it perfect.

Don't be silly!!! I love getting to go all around the ship, how else will I see all of the magic art? Plus it will be good to work off all of those Palo calories!

I may go this way also. Was thinking of making an FE out of some wool felt I have here, but I'm not really feeling it right now, so this bag looks awesome to me.

Our theatre has a sunken orchestra pit in front of the seats and then a raised stage. So you might see the orchestra some but it's the raised stage I am most worried about. We were 3rd row for a concert and saw everything ok but it didn't have sets and such. We have front row (!!!) tix for 2 other shows so we will see which is better!

Our orchestra section is not stadium but it is slightly sloped, so that helps.

I am still figuring out what to do for the FE. I'll probably do a different gift for the adults (looks like there are 12 adults) and a different gift for the girls (2) and for the boys (4).

I kinda had an adult gift in mind, but still need to figure everything out.

It's so fun planning things out! We are doing cabin gifts but we have one for each day... since we have such a small group and so many ideas!
