It's getting too close now. I think I'm going to start going through clothes and setting a few things aside. ....I just can't wait any longer. Hearing about all the people for the Sept 4-5th cruises getting their docs....has been too much.

Oh my goodness it is getting closer!!!! I am getting together in one place all those things that the 'all the best tips' thread suggests so that I won't forget them.
I am practicing with my digital camera. It's still a toss up whether I get a good shot with it!
I am trying to get my DMom amd DBest friend to decide on excursions. I know we want to do one of the tours (Conch Train or Trolley) on Key West. Maybe the glassbottom boat or semi submarine on Grand Cayman. (Neither of my roomies swims so no snorkeling for us.) And we haven't decided about Cozumel. Maybe stay on the ship and enjoy the peace and quiet?

I have to get clothes-especially for the formal and semi formal nights. And some shorts and a new swim suit. And put away money for tips and shjopping. Hmm lots still to do! And only 6 weeks away!

Congratulations, Natale! How exciting for you! Good luck with the pregnancy and be sure to contact your OB to inquire about a possible prescription for nauseau (just in case!!!) If you're anything like I was the first trimester, you'll need it! Best wishes to you and your hubby and happy anniversary!

Are there any other cruisers with children younger than 3? Hunter will have just turned 2 when we cruise and we aren't planning on doing any group excursions. It's hard to find an excursion that includes children this young (other than beach or boat trips) so we've decided to wander the ports on our own. Shopping, swimming, sunbathing...sounds like a dream!

We did purchase the REAS package and I have my Palo and Spa appointments booked, and I have to say this is going to be a HUGE deal for us! I am lucky enough to be able to stay home with Hunter but, as a result, he doesn't have much experience being away from me. When we need someone to watch him I bring him to PA and either my parents or one of my sister keeps him for the weekend. We will need to use Flounders at least twice and I'm a little trepidacious about leaving him. Not that I worry about the care he will receive-trust me, I wouldn't even consider leaving him if I thought he would have anything but top-knotch care-I just hope he'll be able to enjoy himself without looking for 'Mama' every few minutes.

Also, is it just me or is time flying?!? I can't believe yesterday was our 6-week mark! My husband brought our son to the zoo today so I could have some "me-time" and I'm spending the day at the malls shopping for the cruise! Speaking of which, I need to pry myself away from the computer and head on out! Sorry so long!

This will be a huge deal for us as well...

I was wondering about your REAS Palo/Spa bookings. When we signed up for REAS about a month ago I was told that a couple of weeks before sailing I'd get some information and be able to book at that time. Can I call and book before this???

LuvTravelToo...You can call and take care of this before that time. I booked the REAS awhile back...I'd say two months ago. (for a suprise for DH)...But I called Debbie at DCL the same day I booked the REAS package with my TA..I think I had to leave a message for her...but she called me right back and we set the dates and times for Palos, Spa-masssage, High tea, and Brunch at Palos. I was even able to put in a "request" for dinning rotation.

Hunter'sMama don't stress to much about flounders and Hunter. In my experience in leaving my kids (church, Mops etc..) it causes me more stress than them. Both kids usually calm down within in minutes but I was worrying for hours. I will be using Flounders for our 8 month old as well.

My husband and I are traveling without children. We get teased for going on DCL w/out little ones, but we are hooked! My son worked for Disney while in high school and we went the first time on a discount he received. (Not a big one, but any discount helps!) Since then we have been addicted. (My DH will say I am addicted and he isn't, but I caught him watching a DCL special the other day on tv!) We have early seating, though. If I eat late I end up going to bed too soon and what I ate ends up on my hips the next day!!! lol See you soon!

Thank you for all of your replies regarding the cruise list! It really was not big deal. Anyway, I figure since I am a DISboard addict and am on the site several times a day, I might as well make myself useful. This way, my DH does not think I am all that addicted!

I finally mentioned the alien green mickey paint chips to him and he gave me a look. I don't think he is too keen on wearing it! We'll see.

I have done some shopping and now have bought two formal dresses. I do not know which one I am going to keep. I originally did not want to spend alot on a dress and found a simple long black dress for $30.00, but tonight found another dress that was much more! I need to stay away from those clearance racks!! Now I have a semi formal dress, two formal dresses and no other dinner wear. What to do? What to do? I guess more shopping!!!

TraSee - I would not tease you! I love going with my kids, but would love to go alone with DH sometime. It is kind of like going to Disney without kids, you see things in a different eye and can enjoy the other activities that you would not usually get to do if you had kids with you.

I can not beleive it is getting so close. Almost only 1 month to go It seems like I have soooo much more to do to get things together and ready... I think time is just going to fly by from here out...Our oldest daughter is away at camp this week...then at the end of the week (Friday) we have to take our youngest daughter to Children's hospital...for a routine check-up...however I have a feeling it's not going to be to routine....and we may end up spending the following two weeks in the hospital . Friday can't come soon enough for me. This waiting is just about killing me. You know how waiting goes....the mind starts to wander...and all these ideas start comming..on what they'll do...if she'll have to stay...what the treatments are going to be...and on and on and on. As you can see...here it is 2:30 in the morning..and I have nothing better to do but to worry. . To top everything...I have the house totally tore up...Our girls share a room at this time...and the "3rd" bedroom has been transformed into a scrap room for me ...but with Alexis' starting middle school and Sydney going into 1st grade..I thinks it's time they had their own rooms...so bye bye scrap room. I am hoping to get this all done before the girls go back to school at the end of the month. Well I'm guessing I'm not going to get to far sitting here infront of the computer.

Oh ....I did start working on my green mickey heads tonight. I've decided to put my dis name along with my real name on mine...and then my dis name along with the rest of the gangs names on theirs. When I get finished I'll try and post my masterpiece...if I can figure out how

I can't believe how quickly this is going!!!
I want to be on Mickey's boat right now!! I'm so glad that we are going on the seven day cruse and not just a three or four.

I have been saying a 'good weather' chant every night so I hope it works!!!

I'm just about done with my mickey heads...I like the way they look on the computer...but when I print them out...It just looks diffrent. So I'l still working on a couple things. I also started working on our door sign...I'm just about ready to print a sample to see how it looks.
