I have you both down as "Maybes", Karen! :)

Updated spreadsheet of totals:
For sure going: 25 (paying pax)
Maybe going: 6 (maybe paying pax)
**Possibly going: 31 (paying pax - need 40 minimum)
For sure (under 3): 2 (no charge for under 3)
Total capacity: 33 (includes under age 3, free)
** Need 40 paying, max capacity of 50 including under age 3 children. **

I'll know for sure about my group (2 of the maybes) by the 30th.

Well done to all 3 dogs Pat, they all look very cute. :goodvibes

Off Topic!

The moon is huge tonight, it's the closest it's been to Earth since 1993.

So I had a play around with my new camera and these are my first ever attempt of taking photos of the moon:

What, like posting pictures of my dogs was somehow ON topic? :confused3

Those moon pics are ah-may-zing!!!

Waiting for the sun to set here so I can see it. It's been pretty big the last couple of nights, but tonight's the FULL moon.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Yes I suppose 90% of the stuff we all talk about is off topic. ;)

We had a clear sky tonight so it was nice to see the full moon so clearly. I hope you get a good view of it too. :)

What is the topic?

Great shots of the moon.

Winning dogs - good thing they don't know what a ribbon means - they're all winners.

Kayak.com is what I've been searching but the cheapest one is always airfare.com or vayama. I'm just worried because I've read a bunch of bad reviews for both. Still searching. Thanks for the advice for the flight from JFK to bcn :goodvibes

I don't know about JFK, but I used webjet.com to get my one-way flight (Phoenix to Paris) for about $750. I got the referral for webjet from travelzoo super search. It was cheaper than kayak and it actually let me know waht airline I'd be on (British Airways).

:thumbsup2

April 2010, DCL was quoting $1000 for ATL-BCN, then MCO-ATL. Sounds like there are some decent prices to Europe (well, as decent as we're going to see - not like the old days).

No worries. You have to always do what makes you comfortable. In the past four years I have booked roughly 13-15 flights through Kayak and have had no negative results, no bumps, etc. But, always trust your gut.

Looking forward to journey!

I've been looking at cheapoair.com and 1800flyeurope.com for flights from Orlando to Barca. Cheapoair has some bad reviews (some of which were the fault of the customer), but flyeurope has great reviews on sites like Fodor's and Rick Steve's. At the moment, flyeurope has slightly better fares for the flights I want. One of the common complaints about cheapoair is the "hidden fees." Apparently, that's not a problem w/ flyeurope.

I'm just holding off on booking b/c we have some bills we need to cover first. Guess I need to get to work filing my taxes. If I'm lucky, I'll get a refund that will cover this.

i was looking at cheapoair too, were the reviews that bad? i got a good price from them so was definately looking at booking our flights through that website

Well, we're back from the dog show. I entered Neville in the "most unusual" category, and Luna and Juanita were in the "prettiest in pink/best dressed" category.

Neville won 1st prize in his category, and Luna took 2nd in hers!! Poor Juanita didn't win anything, but she looked cute all the same. She was very nervous around all the people and dogs. We're still working on her socialization, so it was good that she didn't completely freak out with all that stimulation.

There were many dogs in cute little outfits, but the dog that won in Luna's category was a Pyrenees with a pink sash that said "vote for me." I think Luna was 'way prettier, and definitely pinker! Personally, I think the "best dressed" was a Chihuahua mix who wore a little pink jacket, a top hat, and shades. He looked very suave! His name was Pablo, which made my friends and me laugh because my Min Pin is also named Pablo and he's a total clothes horse!

Neville is very proud of himself - he knows he's cool! But Luna's okay with 2nd place. She's kind of the "middle child" of our pack and doesn't get as much attention as the others at home. Well, she got tons of attention today, with people wanting to pet her, and take her picture, and telling her how pretty she is. She was definitely in her element! :goodvibes

Juanita in her tutu. "Just don't drop me, okay?"

Luna in all her glory. "Yes, I am very pink. Thank you for admiring me!"

Neville the tough-guy. "Bring on the big dogs!!"

These great photos deserve repeating!!! All three are winners in my book.:thumbsup2

Pat - Juanita was robbed of a placing, she looked fab. Well done Neville & Luna:thumbsup2

Claire, I missed the moon last night...your shots are great. Well done. :cool1:
