What .... only one formal !!!! I have spent the last 2 weeks looking for a formal dress as I only had one !!! Now what to do ... do I bring the two or just the one as we are short on space. Dilemma dilemma !!

I bet there will be 2 formal nights. DCL can be so dozy sometimes. All the 14/15 night cruises we have done have had 2. However I guess they could be changing things just for us!!

Ugh, only one formal night?! I was looking to get dressed up at least 4 times (2 formal, 1 semi-formal and Palo).

If this is how it ends up, I am going to wear my suit "just because" a couple of times!

Don't worry Chris we will just be a very well dressed table because I made sure I had 2 formal dresses so I am going to make sure I wear them both and mainly because I don't get to dress up very often!

YAY!! We hope to be checking in around 2:30 or 3:00. When does your connection arrive JFK? And I just realized I left what little jewelry I wear at home... no earrings, bracelets, etc. Guess I'll be finding some cheapies somewhere in Barcelona! Ooops! (I never wear jewelry... and rarely makeup these days... at least I have the dresses!)

We are supposed to touch down from DFW around 3:00 so I'll find you shortly thereafter.

I will toast you all as soon as I get over the Atlantic, promise! Probably with a cuppa joe, as I will be jet-lagged and stupified from flying all day and into the night, but definitely will raise a glass and look forward to seeing each of you in Barcelona or on the ship!

What is that they say about the best laid plans???

We had an awful thunderstorm last night and doggie couldn't sleep so nobody could sleep. I was up petting and comforting him from about 2-4 am this morning.

So we are leaving for Orlando area in about 10 minutes, a little later than planned but that's okay.

See you all on the ship!!!!

Your girls ROCK!! Now, I know I could borrow Sarah's.... she brought PLENTY and matched them to each of her princess dresses.... but I literally forgot it all! And for me it would have just been earrings and a necklace. I'm just glad I grabbed my rain jacket since it has rained nonstop the past 24 hours here in New York City! (BTW - if you watched the Today show at 9AM est when they were outside, you would have seen, me holding the baby sucking her thumb, and my husband on the other side --- my parents got to see us on TV!)

OMG, Is it raining everywhere in the world? Pouring the last two days in New Jersey. Our flight is Thursday night out of JFK to Dublin, where oddly enough, it's raining. I will be so glad to see some sun in Barcelona. Provided all flights are on time. I will not be able to relax until our connection leaves from Dublin and we see our bags in Barcelona. I will need a stiff drink at the Hard Rock on Friday night. Even though I don't drink. I will be here all day if anyone wants to say HI. Precious few of us left.

Houston has not seen rain in months (other than one isolated thunderstorm) so if you could all send some here, that would be great! There's a huge fire burning, they say its the biggest ever in Texas less than 2 hours from us in Bastrop. Has already burned over 1,000 homes. Another is just north of us in Magnolia that has burned over 100 homes. The one in Magnolia is now 80% contained, but there is a haze where we live from all the smoke. We need rain!!

I'm off to go to my last water aerobics class for awhile (though hoping they might offer it on the ship), then have a mani-pedi. Then off to the grocery store to stock the fridge for the kids and DH while I'm gone. Mostly packed - just have to pick up the skirt that I had altered for my pirate outfit and I think I'll be set! I slept great last night - I am never this packed and this ready so maybe that's why.

Can't wait to go!!!
