Hi all,

We are at WDW (just for a long weekend). Staying at our home resort (SSR) in a 1 bed. Yep, loving it!

Anyway, I'm way back on page 120....so I have quite a bit of catch-up to do. But, we are now PIF....and very excited to go.

BTW, we met a lady standing in line for Disney's Magical Express yesterday who is going on the EBTA and the WBTA this year. Yep, I was jealous!

Karen

Karen, I'm very jealous of where you are...would love to be at WDW now.

Have a fab time.

thanks that great, but so much information to take in lol, we are on main dining so the six oclock would be good not to early but any would be fine, is anyone on the main dining linking there booking to try and be together or is it just the late dining, susie

I thought the majority were on Late dining Susie...that's why I've not said anything about doing the dining linking thing lol's

Yes, you can give yourself an OBC to cover any expenses, not just tips. The last time I read the fine print for 0% interest on Disney VISA, it wa for charges over $101 - so plan accordingly when gigging yourself. Do as Noel said, about a week in advance; I think they cut off 3 days before the cruise begins. Just Say you would like to give a gift to cruiser x - they wil ask what message goes with the gift, even when it's to yourself - this will be on the gift notification waiting for you in your cabin when you arrive, along with any OBC notes from TAs or Disney VISA.

You are correct - their terms say the following:

"You will automatically receive special financing terms for each qualifying Disney vacation package purchase when you use your Disney Rewards Visa Card, provided that no payment on your account is past due at the time of purchase. Valid for... all Disney Cruise Line® packages ... of $101 up to a maximum $10,000 per transaction charged to Disney Rewards Visa Card prior to commencement of your vacation and booked by you or your travel agent through Walt Disney Travel Company or Disney Cruise Line®."

My only concern is that the charge would be coded as a "vacation package purchase," and would then qualify for the 0%.

And a side note... please keep Curt in your prayers. His grandfather passed away unexpectedly yesterday. I am trying to coordinate hotels for those of us driving in from out of state.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Curt and your family in your time of loss.

sorry to hear of your loss, thoughts are with you, curt and his family

So, looks like I won the prize for the most PIF reminders, but who wins for changing cabins the most often?;)

i might be in running for that (started in a 11, went to a 12, went back to 11, then now on an oceanview). might also be in running for the how many cruises booked (started with WBTA, went to 7 night caribbean, then back to WBTA. when i started going through the old thread to get the list of cruisers, i came across a photo of cerby and realised i'd already been on this thread!

Well if I have the white board on my door then I don't mind printing some extra FE lists & keeping them there too so it's all in one place. Just let me know. :)

if thats ok with you, then that'd be great if you dont mind :)
if you and pat both have a couple of FE lists, at least people shouldnt get lost!

i called and they told me those rooms cant take 4 passengers, seems a little odd when rooms on deck 5 can :sad2:

anyone else got 4 in these rooms??

sometimes its nothing to do with how many the room can hold, a lot of times its the amount of people in the surrounding rooms. ie: if every room around you had 2 people, then you might be able to book it. if everyone else has 4 people, then you might not be able to book it.
something to do with the amount of people in each muster station in case of emergency.

I'll bring along some extra copies, too. When we do this, we should put a note on the copies to check the white board for cabin changes. It's the middle-school teacher in me - I've found that unless I spell things out for people (teachers, parents, kids, principals), they don't think about these things. Of course, no one here would be that dim! ;)

wanna bet! nah, that sounds like a great idea, hopefully people will check for changes before they deliver their FE gifts, that way no one will be disappointed if people cant find their new cabin

thats just you, me and melanie then lol, we seem to be the only early diners :rotfl:

i was on early dining - since i've changed to the new rate, i have to be on late dining, but i can request to change once onboard. only problem with that is that i'm supposed to be linking with mary (mkasch) so not sure how that'd work

It seems to be...do you think someone has spread rumours about us? :rotfl2:

We're lightweights Susie :lmao:

I am definitely a lightweight, especially after a few :drinking1

My sentiments too :grouphug:

I have been busy making magnets today :woohoo: I am so not creative and usually avoid these type of activities but I have to say I was having a whale of a time :dance3:

I'm jst hoping that the door will be big enough  :cutie:
