Good Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Watching the wedding too - it's SUCH a relief from the endless bad news usually on TV.

Happy Day, all!

I've always wondered...

What does the Queen carry in her handbag? Spare change? Keys to the palace? Cell phone (who would be calling her now)? She always has these huge bags - why?

Another thought...

Princess Beatrice is 5th in line to the throne. If she did happen to make it, she would be...

Queen Bea. :rotfl2:

Oooooh, Kate just got into the car... Dress looks gorgeous!! Can't wait to see the whole thing!

Queen Bea!!!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

The Royal Family don't carry change!!! I guess a tissue and perhaps glasses, her Lady in Waiting should have everything else.

The whole wedding has been wonderful.

:rotfl: Queen Bea!!!

I remember sitting and watching the whole of Diana & Charles' wedding when I was 6! Today has bought so many of those memories back......Diana would have been so proud today.

I watched it too. Yes Diana would've loved it today.

What a fantastic wedding it's been. As Claire already knows I'm waiting for the kiss :thumbsup2 Not married in my eyes until then ;) :woohoo:

Right! It's not like they need bus fare!

Absolutely beautiful! Her dress was perfect, and he is soooo handsome in that uniform! Harry isn't too shabby, either. The little bride's maids and page boys are adorable. And the sun came out, too!

Oh, I remember that, too (only I was a lot older than 6 ;) ). Diana would indeed have been proud. Can't help wondering if Charles felt just a pang of guilt when they were saying those vows. :rolleyes1

OMG just seen my old next door neighbour on the tv, being interviewed in the studio, handsome RAF chap in his uniform :woohoo:

He works with William and he and wife are at the full wedding today :worship:

I'll need to quiz him next time I bump into him :rotfl:

Hi

Just wondered if there were any runners in the group?

I run mainly for fitness and weight management, (not fast!)

Ran on the running deck a couple of times but the ship was in port so I will make a point of running on some of the sea days this time, used the treadmills in the fitness centre a couple of times also and tried a spin class as well.

Sorry but I have never been a runner. We do usually walk a few rounds of Deck 4 and also Deck 10, but running......:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm in training for the 2011 Wine and Dine ½ marathon on October 1th. Tomorrow I'm running my first 10 K this year. I'm not a fast runner but I always wanted to run a ½ marathon and what better place that at Disney:wizard: (hope some day to come back for a full marathon)Right now I train 2-4 times per week and run 5-7 km each time.

So I plan on running on the running deck. I hope to do at least 15 km a day or two both weeks. I don't do treadmills, they are not my friends:lmao:. I normally listen to an audiobook when I run so I don't get to bored.

Good luck for you 10k tomorrow:thumbsup2 I am sure you will have a great time at the Wine and dine, I did the WDW full marathon in 2004 and the half in 2005 I have not run anything over a 10k for at least five years my last 10k was about 3 years ago.

I am not keen on treadmills my self but when saw they had tvs I thought I would give them a try but both times *** we were at sea they lost picture after a while:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Planning on having a quick run on castaway cay also.

Well I enjoyed the wedding..now I am sitting watching Robin Hood on the Disney Cinemagic.

Good luck for your 10k tomorrow, unfortunately I have never been a runner.

Hope all of our cruisers in the USA are managing to stay safe in the face of those terrible storms and tornados .... it really looks unimaginable. Take care and stay safe :hug::hug:

And Happy Birthday to your son!! The big five!! :cheer2:

He should have! Shame on him. But it really sounds like Camilla has been accepted into the fold.

I really think Camilla was his true love all along, and that unfortunately Diana got swept up into the melee when Charles couldn't marry Camilla in the first place. He and Camilla seem in love in a way that he never really did with Diana, and I think his family realises this now.

But I think Diana would have been proud of her sons today. I'm happy for William and Catherine and hope the Royal Family learned a lot about how better to integrate a spouse into the household without destroying them in the process. I loved the wedding and hope they are really happy together.

Have been working like a fiend lately and have missed talking on the boards! Am looking forward to making some more plans (Barcelona hotel, and finalising return journey) and am counting the days til meeting all of you on the Magic. It's not long, now, is it??!!

No doubt Camilla was the love of his life. But he did have a choice - like the Duke of Windsor/Edward VIII. I think he was wrong to abdicate, but I also think George VI made a better King. Charles didn't want to give up being King, but he didn't want to give up Camilla, either. Seems to me he wanted to have his cake and eat it, too, so to speak. Maybe that wasn't fair, but those were the rules when he got married.

I think William is the perfect blend of the royals' sense of duty (from his father's side) mixed with an awareness of the world around him (which he got from Diana). I also think the press may have learned a lesson about taking their trash too far. I don't think William would put up with their nonsense, but he would handle it in a way that would make them respect his wishes. He really is a class act!

Anyway, so we have four months, give or take a few days, til we sail? I need to get back on track with the diet and exercise, or I'm not going to get into any of my cute clothes! :scared1:

Hello all

I'm super lucky to live so close to London, so when I woke up today I decided to go up and join in the wedding day festivities.

Left home at 8.30 and managed to get a spot on the The Mall, which is the main road leading to Buckingham Palace. Saw Charles, Camilla, The Queen and Kate whizz by on their way to the Abby,

And later was really lucky to get a spot close to the palace and I could see William and Kates kisses.

I feel so lucky to have been able to go and enjoy the day and wonderful atmosphere.

Now I'm sat at home watching the highlights on the BBC to see all the bits I missed

Wow how fab Warren!!! :cool1: I really regret not going into London today, I bet it was an amazing atmosphere!

Yeah it really was lovely, and I got lucky to be able to see the couple, and be part of the day.

I almost didn't go as I wasn't sure i'd get to see anything, but I just got lucky, and kept thinking of all my friends around the world who'd would love the chance to spend the day in London.

The crowds at times were insane, they made even a bad day at EPCOT seem deserted.
