Just found out that the new flagship Disney Store in London has its grand opening on Saturday!!!!

It's the largest Disney store in Europe, twice the size of the one it replaced,,,

I feel a " fact finding" mission on The cards

One of my DIS friends has just posted a lot of photos on Facebook, she went to the soft opening this morning. They had Mickey & Minnie there.

From the photos it looks like there is a LOT of the usual kids stuff they also have a section of "I heart Mickey", "I heart London" and union flag type stuff for all the tourists. One new addition to the UK Disney stores (as far as i'm aware) is they have a section of RideMakerz car stuff, the same as the huge shop at DTD where you can custom build remote control cars.....so at least there is something for boys now.

Just saw a story in our local paper yesterday that they are putting in a new Disney Store - this is after they closed the one in the same mall a couple of years ago!

The story said: "It is one of more than 40 stores around the country that the retailer is planning to open this year after unveiling a new, interactive store design last year. The new store format includes a "pixie dust trail", a princess castle with a magic mirror, "magical trees" that change with the season, and a theater with a library of Disney film clips and music videos.

Also of note is the area in the stores where children can custom build Disney-Pixar branded cars through Ridemakerz."

I hope your dog is OK. We lost our cat to cancer in December. It was awful. We did not even know he had it, until the day we put him down. He just got real skinny. Your will be OK, I know it.

By the way, I received our t-shirts yesterday. They came out really nice. We got the ones that say "Transatlantic with the ship and the country flags. Can't wait to wear them to board the ship.

Not that I am rushing summer. This is only Memorial Day weekend. Everyone in the US, have a great one. I am hoping to hit the Jersey shore. Not to insane on Memorial Day weekend, but we will try. I flatly refuse to do yardwork. Weeds are the enemy.

What is Taryn going to be doing at WDW? I had an opportunity to work in WDW when I was in college, but my Mother was way to overprotective and forbid me to go. It is my biggest regret in life, not being able to do that. I think it is why I am such a Disney freak, err, enthusiast, now. I would give up everything to work there now. Disney is about all I think of these days. The more I go, the more I want to go. I hope she knows how lucky she is to have this awesome opportunity. Color me jealous.
