So if you have insurance it covers any excursions that you book on-line? I did not know that.

Depends on the policy. Read the fine print! And make sure you include the cost in the covered items value.

I am dreading the heat, but I still cant wait to be in Florida--one week and counting for us :yay:

Can't wait for EVERYONE to be in Florida--because then it will be time to cruise! :cool1:
The heat here (in Orlando) has been pretty intense, but it's the torrential downpours we've been experiencing every single day that are worse for me. They always seem to strike while I'm getting ready to check out at Target...:rolleyes1 I've lived here my whole life, but summer always comes as a shock!

Two weeks!!!

:lmao:So funny you mention Target. Oddly, that is one of the things I miss most about the US.

I am odd, I love the heavy rainstorms on the South. I hope we get one every days while wwe are at disney ( but for your sake I hope they are while you are safely at home :goodvibes)

I am so excited to get to Florida on Friday and Disney on Saturday. But, I am equally excited to finally see my fifteen year old daughter again on Saturday. Marika left here on July fifth to volunteer for a month as a counselor at a camp for disabled girls, through girl scouts, and then stayed in the US visiting her grandparents , aunts and uncles. She has had a wonderful adventure, and I am proud of her for working so hard and I am glad she is taking these steps towards growing up, but I miss her so much. Wich is all a long way of saying I am doubly excited for WDW :cool1:

I don't care what the weather is..... Just ready to be on that ship ;)

I just got back from Orlando. It wasn't to hot. But did get stuck on the plan for an hour and 1/2 due to a storm. Once lighting was spotted they stopped loading bags. The ground crew failed to cover the baggage. So they got soaked. I saw water pouring off one of the bags when they finally loaded them. Those bags belonged to standby passengers.
It was a united flight. I can't stand united anymore. They have gone down hill.

That is so unfortunate - and makes me want to put all my clothes in zip lock baggies!!!

I hate to be the one bringing this up..... But is anyone else monitoring the National Hurricane Center website?? Looks like there are 2 possible issues out there.

this week... but the paths have not been put in place I don't think.... Worse if it projects on Florida for when we need to board... but those storms are still to far out to know yet:confused3

My main concern is just getting my flight accomplished then boarding!!! I then am ok :thumbsup2

This is EXACTLY how I feel.... I just want to get out on my flight, and get to Orlando and then be able to board the ship. Everything else will fall into place (I don't care if they switch itineraries or anything like that).

I hope we can all land safely in Orlando and then get on that ship. If it reroutes due to the storm I don't mind that at all (okay, I may pout a little if i miss castaway for teh thrid time, but other than that I dont care at all :rotfl:)

Oh gracious! Poor people whose bags those were. We wer debating taking the garment bag or just putting our nice things in our hardsided cases with our other stuff and hoping we can get the wrinkles out--that makes me want to go for the wrinkles:eek:.
