We are on this cruise too! First time checking out these forums! Great resource! Considering doing fish extenders, but looks like I am late to the party.

Welcome. : )

Finally finished our door magnets. Lets just say it was a group effort! Hubby and I tackled it together. Winding things down. Kids 1st day back to school is today.. Very busy here... Can not wait to set sail!:cool1:

I hope they have a great first day back :goodvibes

Do they charge for the pastries at Vista Cafe?

I can't be postiive, but they do not charge for them in the coffee shop on the smaller ships, so I imagine that would be the same and it would be no charge :goodvibes

I haven't started packing yet either:rotfl: David travels for work all next week, gets home LATE Thursday and we fly out Friday morning, so we do have to get him packed this week for sure, and I would like to get us all packed by the weekend so I am not scrambling to do laundry for things that should be packed but got worn instead;)

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been active on this thread, but I check in from time to time. I was wondering if there is going to be a meet at the beginning of the cruise just to say "hello"?

I finally got my room assignment (think I have posted it a few pages back). I went from an 11C to 11B deck 6. I'm at the VERY front of the ship in 6001. Don't know much about the room, but hey its just me so how much room do I need? :rotfl: I'm just happy to be getting on the ship in 2 1/2 weeks time.

Been keeping an eye on the weather. Hoping for no storms in the Gulf as if we change itinerary, sea days and pirate night gets changed. I have Palo Brunch and Dinner booked. :cool1:

Haven't even begun to think about packing other than for formal/semi formal. I hate taking two sets of clothes for each day, but that's how it goes. At least I don't have to fly. :goodvibes

OK - I'll bite ... Casual clothes and swim attire for day time and "Cruise Casual" (or Formal/Semi-formal) for night ? (Sounds dumb, but I'm a first timer and want to make sure I don't over pack or even worse, under pack......)

Hey! I'm pretty sure we are meeting at 3 in la piazza on embarkation day. I need to start packing, or making lists, or doing something. I will go stir crazy

Ditto... I didn really see the dress code in my cruise docs and not sure what I should wear. And more importantly how to dress 2 year old boys. Are they supposed to wear pants each night??

Technically, yes they are supposed to wear pants to dinner. Have I seen kids and adults in shorts, yes. Cruise casual most nights... Which means no shorts, tanks, or swim suits. Formal and semi formal you will find a wide range of dress....

When we were on our last Disney cruise it was supposed to be pants and collared shirts. This cruise the boys will all wear collared shirts for dinner, but I will let my 15 year old wear his nice khaki cargo shorts and my 4 year old. My daughter and I will wear dresses. We have tuxes and nice dresses for formal, and slacks with blazers for semi formal. Hope that helps. I think of it as a golf course and country club and would we be dresses appropriately.

Do we want and/or need a list of who plans to come to the meet ? Or is that overkill ?
