Senseo coffee maker recall

Thanks for posting. I'd never heard of this, and it turns out mine is not on the list!

I fill out warranty cards for everything I buy. I wonder why they didn't notify me of the recall that way. If I hadn't seen this listed here on the DIS, I wouldn't have known about it.

Oddly enough I received a letter from Senseo about the recall - even though both of our machines do not fall within the dates listed. It kind of makes me nervous because obviously they had received my warranty cards since they knew where to send the letters, buy why did they bother to send the letter if they knew my machine was not included? Kind of wierd.
