We will be at the Beach Club Villa's next month and will be having something sent to me via USPS.

What do I need to do in order to have Beach Club accept and hold a package sent to me via USPS at the Beach Club until we arrive?

Gary

I did last month. I just had the package addressed

To Guest Name - Arrival date:

We arrived early in the morning before the room was ready. By the time we returned, the packages are in the room with our DME luggage.

Thanks jjnv,

Anyone know the address of the Beach Club villas and also how long will they hold the package? We arrive on March 9th so would it be ok to send now?

From the Members' Website:

Disney's Beach Club Villas
1900 N. Epcot Resorts Boulevard
Lake Buena Vista, FL32830
Front Desk: (407) 934-2175†
Fax: (407) 934-3850

†If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

IMHO, it's too soon to send the package. My advice is to time it to arrive no more than 2 or 3 days prior to your arrival. If you want it to arrive sooner than that, you should call the resort to see how long they will hold it for you.

Yes that is the address I used. I think it is too early to send a package for Arrival of March 9 though. I planned to have ours delivered two days before our arrival.

Thanks Carol and JJNV,

I'll give the Beach Club a call and see how long they will hold packages before our arrival.

I have no idea how big the package is either. The package is three pirate costumes that we plan on wearing at the Pirate and Princess Party.

I am going to see if I can work with the shipper to hold the package and send it out closer to our arrival.

Unless you are maxed out on luggage, why not just use a smallsuit case and take it with you?

The costumes are in the USA right now and would have to be sent to Canada. USPS delivery to Canada could be 4 weeks cutting it kind of close and we don't want to go without them. :)

Over night and express shipping to Canada is very expensive.

Sending via UPS often includes a crazy brokerage fee that is basically a rip off.

No taxes, we can bring the costumes home and declare the purchase at the border this way.

The seller of the costumes doesn't really want to go to the hassle of shipping to Canada but would if need be. Having it shipped to our resort works best for the shipper too.

Ummm ... that is all I can think of for now. ;)

sure does ... and our 14 year old daughter is going so luggage space will probably will be maxed out. She has already started to pack and I have had to remind her several times that we are only going away for 8 nights. She thinks she is bringing everything in her closet. :)

Gary

We always over pack. Our next trip (we say this everytime) we will each take a carry on, and one small suit case. We will take advantage of the washer and dryer in the room.
