Sending parcels to the BWV...

Good Morning Everyone,

I have a two part question, the first being about parcels delivered to your hotel.
We will be having our Christmas at BWV and would like to mail our little 2ft tree as well as stockings, baby items etc. Does the front desk frown on this?
Is there a charge for holding items for you at the front desk?

Secondly we live in Canada but will be shipping the items across the border in Buffalo, how far ahead of time should we send our parcel out?
We arriving on December 17/1005, I was thinking 10 days ahead of time but I am not sure.

My revised question is : has anyone had a package meet them at their resort?If so was it a pain in the neck?

I put down the name of the person that is holding the reservation, with
the name of the resort, followed by:

check in: Day of week, date. and then the address.

I put the same info inside the package, and let it go.

Then, when I check in, I ask them to go find the package. Works fine....

Villas of Wilderness Lodge, Disney Vacation Club
Check in Tuesday, 11/11/05
address here of the lodge....

Call the resort and make sure you have the correct shipping address. We have shipped to BWV and VWL and the address for each, I believe, is slightly different for shipping. The BWV actually goes to the business center next door so you need that address. We do UPS and have tracking so we can see when it arrived and who signed for it prior to arriving. When you check in let them know you have a package and they will bring it to your room. Have fun!
