How far in advance did you send them?
I am starting to gather what I want sent, and just wondering when it is best to place my orders

It really depends on delivery time.

I would look at the different websites delivery times and then get them sent so that you expect them a day or two (or three or four) before you are due to arrive. You don't want to leave it too late for their arrival, in case they get delayed and you leave before they arrive. So give them plenty of time to arrive, they will hold them for you without any problem.

Just make sure that you put your name, guest checking in (then the date), and the resort address and they will hold the packages for you until you arrive. Disney World is awesome at receiving parcel (so is Disneyland :thumbsup2 ) Some of the resorts (Yacht, Beach Clubs are two that I can think of off hand), you need to address them to the Front Desk. Otherwise they get stored somewhere else and you have to pay to pick them up (and you pay per box, not per pickup) (which may happen anyway wether you put front desk on or not)

Here's a good thread if you haven't stumbled upon it before http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2437212

My brother had packages delivered to Pop Century on our trip in August. He ordered his things so they were due to arrive at WDW a day or two before we arrived. The packages were there waiting for us when we checked in.

Thanks, I have all the things sitting in baskets just need to process them when the time is right.
