Glad the birthday party went well - 36 kids?!!!!

Thought it was going to be scarey but the disco lady was just the greatest ever so it was actually pretty stress free once it got going (although not totally!) I used to work as a playleader with vulnerable children and we used to have 40 at a time so I kept reminding myself if I could do that this would be ok although that was when I was younger and didn't have my own kids so I was much more patient!

Was having a major panic about getting everything done before we leave. I didn't understand why as we had 10 days then I realised its cause I hadn't made one of my holiday lists with everything I need to pack and do on it

I now have a list and am calm again. Didn't realise I was so list dependent

I have also realised that while searching for bargains so that DD1 and DD2 have new disney clothes for everyday I have over bought and although we are only away 6 days they have at least 10 days of new clothes

I was tempted while de labelling it all this afternoon to add up the total cost as I'd bought the odd bit here and there in sales but decided against it as it would probably mean I would lose my status as the one who is sensible with money in own house

Ahhhh, brilliant!!! I knew it wasn't just me who does that with the Disney clothes!! I have got better, but on our first trip, DD had enough for two outfits each day - not including costumes!

I am also list-dependent, hoorah for the list!

Journey begins tomorrow

Off to put final things in the case.

Fingers crossed for an easy journey (first time taking DDs to Disney on public transport) and a good reaction when we tell them in the morning.

By pure coincidence loads of her friends have gone on holiday this half term and she thinks she's left behind going nowhere she keeps telling me she misses them.
