Let's see...on May 31st I went to TDS and they were having their semi-annual sale. I learned from experience (the hard way) to wait for these sales to buy the plush (stuffed) toys DD loves so much. Most everything in the store was 50% off. I got Stitch for DD's birthday from my mom (she was going to buy one the next week in WDW) and a t-shirt. The t-shirt is a size too small for me and since we're doing this whole Disney theme in DD's bedroom I thought I would frame the tee and hang it on the wall.
Then on June 7th I went back to TDS to buy DD's birthday present. The plush went back to 33% off (new merchandise came in since I was there the week before). I REALLY wanted to buy all ofthe Fab Five for DD's room, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much, at least not at the time. If they would have still been 50% off I would have gotten all five for sure. Instead, I settled for 3 of the 5 - Goofy, Pluto and Donald. At 33% off, it was like getting one free.
And was that enough Disney shopping? No. I was surfing and somehow found myself at the online store. Actually it started here. I read a post about something someone was looking for and linked over there. I found the perfet World of Disney sheet sets for DD's bed. They're flannel, but I couldn't resist the sale price or the opportunity. They were pretty much what I had been looking for, with lots of characters and not too juvenile for a 12 yo. And, since I ordered I now have this 10% coupon code to return and buy more!
