Selling dvc points to David's.Anyone here do it?

I have 68 points in holding. We may make a short trip this spring and I'm debating whether to use my points in holding or use DD's CM discount to pay for a moderate. Can anyone tell me what their experience was selling to David's? They are Dec UY points at OKW so I believe I would receive a little over $11 per point. TY

Yeah I've done it a few times, very easy and made some extra cash!

David's seems to have a 95 point minimum to contract with them but you should check.

It sounds like you won't be able to use David's, but if you ever need to, they are wonderful to work with.

Yes, along as you are willing to use additional points, I believe they will work with you.

Problem is holding points can only be booked 60 days in advance of checkin so they will need to find someone who wants a reservation within 60 days.

I like to use the other site (which we can't list here as I think it gets blocked). There is no point minimum and I found them way faster to work with.

I have used David's. Great experience. I had less than the minimum, but enough for 2 nights. It worked out that someone needed 2 nights at BWV in the Fall. I called and spoke with them. They were very helpful.

Thanks everyone. I sent an agreement Friday night with points available, etc., and wondering what the next step is. Will they go ahead and sell the points or will I get a call/email first?

Hi, You should get an email. I believe you have to sign a document and then they
give you instructions on what to do when they are looking for points to be used for a vacation. I waited a few days only to realize that they had emailed me multiple times and it was in my spam folder!! Good luck! I also had an excellent experience with them,quick and easy. Joan

They match you up with a buyer and then you have to make the reservation in the buyer's name. The broker does not take control of the points.

Mine went to the spam folder also. Already sold the points though! 24 hours between me sending the agreement and the points selling.

I've rented points myself and also through David's. David's was very easy and points were rented in a matter of hours...

I just used Davids last week. Quick and easy. The amazing thing that I learned is that they are based out of London, Ontario which is 1/2 drive from where I live
