Sell me on the iPhone

Att has unlimited messaging for a family plan for $30 a month or iPhone unlimited messaging for $20.

Will the family plan unlimited messaging work with the iPhone or do you have to have the iPhone message plan????

I don't think they charge more for iphone plans on text messages. I don't have a iphone (yet) but have called ATT many times asking about text plans and iphone questions in general. On my family plan my DD has unlimited text for $20, I have 200 messages and that is $5, my DH is blocked for now till he learns how to use it! I have asked that "WHEN" I get my iphone I can change this all to the family plan of $30...they say yes. You should call though, plans and things change. They did say that the data plan for a iphone is more than a data plan for a regular 'non-smart' cell phone.

I have enjoyed this thread! JAN 17th is the day I can get mine...how appropriate..that is also my service anniversary date with ATT..(in the land line group not cell phone)..30 years...what a great gift I will give to myself...they will be giving me a nice lunch in April!!!!

Once I had the iPhone, I discovered how easy it was to download and subscribe to podcasts. So, personally, having an iPhone actually contributed to my discovery of podcasts.

Now that I can take them with me walking, I almost always have one playing (or music).

Same thing happened to me when I got the iPod. It was a gift, I had no idea what to do with it!

Then I discovered podcasts. I do not listen to books or the radio in the car any more. I listen to all sorts of podcasts now. No podcast listeners do not understand podcasts. I say they are "sort of" like radio shows (some are). but I never listened to "talk radio".

Love podcasts!!!
