sell me on a Maclaren

Certainpixiedust--I'm sure the strollers are okay (real) This guys sells so many maclarens and had so many positive reviews I have a hard time thinking it is not real. Mine certainly looks real (I tried one out in target before ordering this one)

I think maybe I'm just not used to it. After all the rave reviews I just thought I would fall in love with it. It's great pushing my son around on the hard floors in the house but like I said my neighborhood sidewalks are not all that great and I don't think it handles as well on the cracks/broken sidewalks. Not bad there's just no suspension to it. Also I'm used to pushing a bigger stroller around and this one just feels "weird" I think I just need to get used t it. Let me know how you like it. Mine got here very fast. I think I received it in about 4 days.

I absolutely LOVE my Maclaren, I have the triumph. I think one of the things I like best about it is that it pushes so easily, even one-handed. I have had Combi and a Chicco which were nowhere near as easy to push with one hand, which made getting through doors a pain. My 2yo naps so well in that stroller too. I love that it is so light...I can just sling it over my shoulder with the strap and hold my toddler in the other hand. I think it's a perfect Disney stroller! Honestly, I know so many people that have Macs and I never knew why people liked them so much until I bought my own!

The DIS sold me on Maclaren's long before my baby came. We put her in it just before taking it on a NY trip when she was barely 3 months old. Can you say recliner?

We take it to fairs with all sorts of surfaces, fields, gravel etc. I even took a walk this winter after snow/ice. That was a little hard on it, but it managed. I'm waiting for the day a wheel falls off. I am extremely hard on it.

I use it to walk my DD and my 55 lb shepherd mix. And the dog is a puller. I can steer both and talk on the phone, if I have to. I do have the fancy Techno (I think). It has much bigger wheels than the Volos and Triumph? (You can tell I don't really know all the models).

I just know we've been happy with ours. That said, my SIL doesn't like her hand-me-down, but she was insistent on a tray. I'm meaner, DD doesn't snack really on-the-go.

Also, we got a nice bag for it for flying. It makes the stroller look like golf clubs (which has been a little tough with gate-checking since every airport is different). However, I think that the bag protects it some, and if you have to, you can stuff a couple extra things in there.

We are struggling with taking it in Oct. We're tempted to buy a $20 umbrella stroller either there or before we leave, only because of size. I just don't think we'll like it as much....

I LOVE my maclaren- I have 3 boys, this is my first maclaren and I'm so glad I bought it --originally for Disney It is lightweight , maneuvers easily , even with one hand, carries easy with a strap, unlike a regular umbrella the handles are high enough! Mine is a triumph- definately would buy another! I put a a maclaren organizer on it so it fits 2 bottles of water, or sippy cup!

sometimes my 7 year old gets in it (just because he can)and it does just fine!

Do you h ave to take your Maclaren organizer off to fold the stroller? I am considering this, but want to be able to fold it all up and leave the organizer on at all times. Thanks!

I would take the maclaren, I do not think you would be happy with an umbrella stroller after using your mac. No comparison IMO.
