Was able to book 5150 for our October 6, 2012 cruise....but 5650 was already booked

I was on the Dream last week, from my balcony in room 10624 I looked over and saw these huge veranda's on the 5th floor. When I booked again onboard for next year I requested one of the rooms with these extended verandas. The disney rep onboard told me the second room in, 5652, had the largest veranda, so I booked it. Was she wrong? Seems from all this talk that 5650 is the largest. Can someone confirm?

By the way, the ship is awesome, you will all have a great time aboard.

It maybe that it was the largest balcony left at the time you booked.

after seeing all the posts on the huge veranda I wanted to change my room from 6a to 5e and book 5650 but they are telling me there are no rooms even available in that catagory!! could that be true for 2/19/12 trip??

I posted another thread about this, but does anyone know if 5650 and 5652 have the same size veranda. They are right next door to each other but everyone keeps remarking about 5650 and 5150.

5650 and 5652 both have a verandah that is extended outwards (as do other deck 5 5E's, with a few exceptions). 5650's verandah is also extended forward. This cannot be the case with 5652's since there are staterooms on either side of it.

LOOKS GOOD ! CAN"T WAIT ! Have room 5546 on the Dream in MAY and again in Sept., also have the same room booked in MAY 2012 on the FANTASY. That room along with port side [5046] are the only two rooms with exten.-verandahs and no connecting door to the next room. In the 5-E forward area.

I just booked 5546 5548 5550 and am hoping all the verandahs can be opened sicne it is a group of us traveling together. can u PM me when u get back and let me know since u are booked in 5546. Thanks!!

Will the rooms be the same on the Fantasy? We have 5650 booked on a Fantasy cruise - just wondering if we'll have the larger verandah there as well - cat 5E???

I posted another thread about this, but does anyone know if 5650 and 5652 have the same size veranda. They are right next door to each other but everyone keeps remarking about 5650 and 5150.

I have seen 5150 from Cabanas so I am assuming it's the same for 5650 but the others nearby are not nearly as wide.

Still haven't heard anything from my TA about 5650 for 12/15/12. Hopefully it's on hold for me. I do have 5650 for 6/6/12 so if anyone is cruising then you're more than welcome to come check out the verandah.

We are in 5650 on the 12/15/12 Fantasy cruise!! The only way we'll cancel is if the kids' Christmas breaks don't correspond - hopefully won't be the case. Maybe we should have a verandah party!!??

We have 5150 for our 5/03/2012 dream cruise. Funny thing is..i called to upgrade from our inside cabin to a verandah and this is the first one she offered me, and i had no clue about the extended verandah until after i had booked it. Talk about luck!!!!!!

YES!!! Lots of happy dances!!!

Our friends are in the room beside us. I told her we could try and remove the partition and have one HUGE verandah! I was thinking of packing one of those inflatable plastic pools and setting up my own pool out there!
