I also called, and was going to make a reservation, but you have to pay the entire amount upfront (unlike a PS), so I'll have to wait until payday, but I'm really looking forward to this!

And yes, I have 2 teenagers who are VERY happy, and one 11 year old who's not so very happy - and a DH who now has a reason to shed some weight

I just signed up to take this tour as well. I'm taking it on May 3rd. I can't wait I was psyched for this tour when I heard about it from my Undiscovered Future World tour guide back in August. I can't wait to get on that Segway

DH would love this! I don't know if I can get him booked for a tour at this late time, but I'm going to try.

Does anyone know if the family members who are not participating in the tour can hang around the area at all? I would sign up for the tour myself, but DD (age 7) would have no one to hang with. I at least want to snap a photo or two of DH on a Segway.....if possible. Anyone know for sure?

This is so cool! I can't wait to tell DH, he will be thrilled. Our next trip isn't until October, but I definitely want to get signed up.

The tours start at 8:45 for check in (actual tour is 9a-11a).

Rather than hanging out with your husband, I think you and your daughter would rather go to the Princess Breakfast at the Norway Pavillion. This is what I plan on trying to do when I go with the kids and my husband.

I kind of doubt they will let you hang out with the tour, but you can always ask (the last part of it includes going around the world showcase on the segway so you wouldn't be able to keep up with that anyway.)

They used to have a Segway exhibition area at Castaway Cay. It was on the deck, just off to the side of the boat.

However, when we were there again in October they weren't there anymore. So, I'm not sure if they are still taking place.

The World Showcase tour sounds great though.

Although the check in for the tour is at 8:45 - it is at Guest Relations inside of Epcot, so unless they are letting everyone in that far.......not sure where the rope is on that side.

And the CM who booked the tour for me said the first part of the program is training with orange cones - so I assume that will be backstage - I just can't envision they will do that onstage with other guests around? Either that or the training will be in World Showcase so there are no other guests around. They didn't say backstage in the description, so I would think the latter.

I think the princess breakfast suggestion is a good one. If you time it right you could meet DH at Norway and get a photo there?

I was told that to enter the park before 9am to go to the line for the "breakfast" and give the CM my name and confirmation # for the tour and they would let us in early.

We just booked the tour for Feb. 20 and can't wait! My DH is very excited (and so am I!). I only called on Feb. 7 and the tour was not yet booked.

Is there a site on-line that describes this tour? I've checked a couple of different places that list different WDW tours, but this one must be new enough that I haven't been able to find it listed. I'll be booking it anyway, but I would enjoy reading the official info on it. Thanks.

The tour came available not too long ago, that's why the person who said they got a tour for the 20th, by calling as late as the 7th of the same month was able to sign up. I'm wondering if this will be one that books up early....

anyone know, if you are signed up for the segway tour or the breakfast for that matter, if you are staying at Y&B can you enter early from the World Showcase entrance?

We have always entered from the International Gateway. It opens the same time as the front gate. If you have an early PS, they let you in there.

Can someone report on how the epcot segway tour was? It's currently a little over our WDW budget but if it has raving reviews, we might have to consider it. Anyone?
