Okay, long post.
We are doing a surprise Disney event birthday party. For this we are RECREATING the tiki room, the Monsanto "Adventures through Inner Space" ride, the Haunted Mansion, and the teacups plus a VERY short electrical parade - this is all being done in my house with a friend dressing and being the "tour guide" - we are using shortened sound track, puppets for the tiki birds, etc etc - very complex (party not until January of 2008).
ANYWAY - part of the gag is that ALL the rides are closed when they arrive and I need to make a Closed for refurbishment sign - now I have seen those signs many times but I am drawing a blank on exactly how they look and what the lettering looks like - I wonder if anyone has a PHOTO of the closed for refurbishment signs that are by the entry gates (after the turnstiles) - i vaguely recall them being black on white boards, with scroll shaped top? Please please if anyone has a picture - especially a more 'vintage' type picture I would very much appreciate either a post here or a PM - whichever is easier.
Thanks in advance! (We have bought "cast member" badges off ebay for all our workers, too - ha ha - we are so excited! The "real" gift will be parkhoppers to the real Land, of course!)
