Really now, it should be that difficult right? One would think so. How much is it to ask for a great guy that is a bit older (40's) who truly love the Lord, Disney and his family, fuzzy ones too. Funny combination right? I don't think so.

It's never too late. I am almost 65 and have a fairly new boyfriend (several months) who meets all of that criteria but is just a little bit younger than me. Miracles can happen! I was so not looking for this.

I think your request is reasonable and I think I meet your requirements. The downside is your in TN and I'm in CA.

I have found several guys that meet that criteria but do NOT want to live in Central Florida. . .go figure. . .lol. Those that do want to live in Central Florida are struggling to find decent pay work here. . .lol.

Oh, and by the way, I will be 50 in a month so you are MUCH younger. . .lol.

That's too funny. I grew iup in CA, moved to TN almost 17 years ago. Love living in CA though and miss Disneyland! Moving to TN has brought me closer to DW and I love it there too.

It is difficult to meet someone at our age and I really do not understand why. Most people are looking for the same thing (ok...I know there is a difference in the wants between men and women), but all in all its about the same. I know "love" is out there and I know it's not too late. I just think we let too much "stuff" get in the way.

Oh...an 50 isn't old at all. I remember when I was a kid and though 20 was ancient. The when I hit 30 I remember feeling a bit at odds with myself. When 40's came along I understood who I am and what I want...so 50's should be a blast...a freedom that you never expected. Happy birthday (upcoming) and enjoy the years to come!

I might be living there someday, if I could get a job at WDW........

Well, on a part-time basis, that is, concerning both the work and living in CF, if things work out.

Ahhhh, another snow bird. Come on down Augie. . .

I've met some great women around my age but with either a lack of similar interest or not geographically desirable. I agree with your comments especially that sometimes stuff gets in the way.

Darcy, your not old honey. I wish you lived closer

Good luck to everyone searching for that special someone.

I might have to move back to Cali in order to improve my financial situation. Hospitals in Florida pay CRAP. . .actually, Florida pay in general is horrid. . .But I like it here. I do miss my beach. Take care of it. I miss running on the boardwalk between Redondo, Manhattan and Hermosa. . .love that area. . .

Oh, and for the record, I know I am not old. I don't feel old or look old. I love it when I get carded still. . .makes me smile. But this morning I had a call case for a 51 year old that does not drink, smoke or eat unhealthy. He was in full blown heart attack mode. We put a stent in his left anterior descending artery. He is young and looks young. Kinda makes me feel my mortality sometimes. . .

I thought I posted on this thread. Must have been dreaming(or something that starts with a D).
Older! 40s? please. I'm 58, love Disney (16 trips to WDW, 4 to DLR),love the Lord, and most of my family. Oh ok, all my family. Weird sense of humor. I live 22 miles from Tennessee and have lived in Nashville and Springfield, although I wouldn't return to Springfield on a bet.
Personal reference: Nurse Darcy (be kind).

Hey there, how are you? Haven't seen you around in a while. I am in Florida now (of course).

Hey Darcy. I'm still good. Made my first trip with a kid in September. My sister, her hubby, her three grown kids and her grandson, my great-nephew. I'll never look at WDW the same way again. I rode only a few rides, missed a whole lot I love, and had the time of my life with the kid. Here's two of my favorite pics.

We had VIP seats for B&tB. One of my sister's former employees is a big shot, or at least medium shot at WDW and he spent the day with us at DHS.
So, you married or what now? You doin' good? How close to the Mouse are you?

Happy Valentines Day to all the Ladies

not neccessarily,, if the king is still alive his son would be prince regardless of age, so an 80 yr old king could be father to a 60 yr old prince..
