See, We didn't forget all about you!

Countdown = 12

The trip that took so long to get here is quickly approaching! :banana:

I think I'll take advantage of the quiet morning here and get Stitch's Grumpy shirt printed and ironed, before the Mother's day activities begin.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there.

Countdown = 5

Actually it's four since we've decided to leave Friday afternoon and stopover in Tallahassee. Which means Minnie needs to put it in high gear!

I think I'll do something crazy and call to see if there's an available ADR for dinner at LeCellier :rotfl:

Just in case I haven't mentioned this yet, I'll be taking the laptop with me and doing live updates while we're there, this report should get a little more interesting then. Personally I love live reports with pictures.

Yay!! A live TR. Let us know if you got that ADR!

Countdown = 2

Looks like there won't be much sleep for me tomorrow, but that's nothing new.

Well, we're live from Old Key West.

The drive was pretty rough in places, it took an additional two hours on our first leg because of wrecks and bad weather.

I packed lysol and germex to guard against germs, and then I got sick before we even left. Friday I went to the doctor and am armed with medication so I hope they kick in soon.

We checked in at OKW, had lunch at Olivias, and Stitch went swimming while I unpacked and took a nap, later we will have dinner offsite, get groceries and call it a night early in hopes of feeling better tomorrow.

So here's a few pictures to add a little interest, I don't have many yet as I just haven't felt well, I'm hoping that will change soon.

The first leg of the trip was pretty rough going, and here's the reason,

Actually the rain had slowed quite a bit when I took this, I don't know why some people can't slow down and be cautious in bad weather, we saw several wrecks because of it.

Here's a sleepy Stitch waking up in Tallahassee,

The second leg of the trip wasn't bad, we did have some light rain at times but at least we could still see, here's what the skys looked like when we arrived,

Our home for the week,

Our arrival day was pretty uneventful, we are in unit 14 which is a great location, we are right accross from HH, just a short walk to all the resort fun.

After checking in we had lunch at Olivia's, our service while not bad was really slow, which isn't good when you have a six year old who is "starving to death".

We're on the third floor, even though I had requested a lower floor, which makes moving in a pain, and since my asthma is giving me such a hard time all the work was left up to Grumpy and Stitch.

The weather was nice so I stayed in the room to unpakc and rest while Grumpy and Stitch went to the pool, Stitch loved the slide and came back to the room all excited.

For dinner we went offsite to Olive Garden, it was packed but the wait was less than 30 minutes, and the food was really good, our server did a great job, much better than our server at Olivia's.

Grumpy and Stitch played tic, tac, toe,

Stitch is being goofy here and making a "Zombie" face, he loves mac and cheese,

IMG_0041.jpg

Grumpy had lasagna,

IMG_0042-3.jpg

and I had Chicken Parmagian with wheat pasta,

After we ate we went to WalMart for our groceries for the week, that's when the heavens opened up, it wasn't raining, it was pouring. Grumpy and Stitch waited in the truck while I went in alone, the place was packed, but I managed.

I'm up at 3:00 am for a breathing treatment and thought I would post an update. I've decided to send the boys to AK without me this morning, I'm hoping that one more day of breathing treatments and antibiotics will make a big difference.

Grumpy doesn't want to leave me alone, but I would feel horrible if they got stuck in the room with me. We have an ADR at Chef Mickey's tonight and I do plan on making that one.

Well the boys are off to Animal Kingdom, and guess what showed up this morning,

The Sun!!!!!! This is the view from our balcony, if you look really close you can see our waterview through the trees. :rotfl::rotfl:

Grumpy and Stitch made it back from Animal Kingdom,

Stitch informed me that he was bitten by a bug, scared by a dinosaur, and helped save a baby elephant. I'm glad he had a good time, Grumpy didn't take the camera so no pictures yet, they did have a least one photopass shot taken.

The good news is I made it out of the room for a while,

Here's Stitch headed up to the slide,

Waiting up top,

Debbie - I am so glad you got to enjoy some time around the pool with your men! I also hope you do OK going to Chef Mickey's tonight :hug:

Cool a live report!:thumbsup2

Stitch is adorable!:)

Hope you feel better real soon!:wizard:

We timed it just right so that Stitch got to ride in the front of the monorail,

IMG_0083.jpg

We didn't have any waits for transportation so we made it to the Contemporary early, checked in and our 5:35 ADR was moved up to 5:00,
here's Stitch waiting for our table,

IMG_0084-2.jpg

Chef Mickey's has always been a hit with Stitch and tonight was no exception, Mickey shaped mac and cheese and characters, what more can a kid ask for,

IMG_0085-2.jpg

Pluto wanted his picture taken with everyone,

Minnie flirted with both my guys,

While we were having dinner the skies turned black and the bottom fell out, we were glad we were inside and not caught out in the middle of it. People wer getting off the monorail soaked to the skin. By the time we got on the monorail it slowed to a light drizzle, so we pulled out the emergency ponchos and made it back to OKW dry, I'm getting better but far from 100% so it's another early night here.

I told Grumpy it was too bad because people had poured out of the Magic Kingdom, so it would have been a great night to go.
