This is probably kind of a stupid question. I plan on carrying DD (4 months old) with my front carrier (like a Baby Bjorn, but a different brand) thru the airport. Am I going to have to take her out of it to go thru security? How exactly will that work? TIA

Yes, you will have to carry the baby through the "scanner" in your arms, and you'll need to put the carrier in a bin to go through X-ray.
