security in parks

I haven't been back since 2001 when they were checking every bag, backpack, and purse before people went in. Is this still in effect? It will make a big difference on what we "shag;' to the parks.

Yes, they still check. They do have two ways to enter though, one, if you have no bags needing to be checked, and the other, a bag check entrance area.

The lines to be checked usually move pretty quickly.

If you have a backpack or diaper bag the security person needs to see the bottom of the bag. I put all contents of my diaper bag into ziploc bags which makes it very easy to move things around without unloading 100 different things then having to repack it all. It also keeps things moving.
