Securing TV/VCR in car ideas - help!

Welovespacemountain, that's almost precisely what we do...though we secure the crate/tv combo to the metal bars under the drivers/passenger seats. We use motorcycle tiedown straps for all of it--strapping the tv to the crate and then the crate/tv to the van. It works great and tilts the tv up at a perfect viewing angle to boot.

Good luck, travelitis!

Nanns sent me a listing for the wedge, and I do understand exactly what you mean welovespacemountain. That was very clearly explained and sounds like a very good option. There is a solution for our too big 13" TV/VCR that doesn't involve buying another one and downgrading the screen size. With a laptop on our shopping list, WDW for Thanksgiving, my son's b-day in Nov., and Christmas right around the corner, this is not the time to buy another travel TV. Heck, we're waiting to celebrate our 5th anniversary until June even though it's this friday. What my dh doesn't know is we're going to do a re-hitching at GG next month.
