Have fun at Rainforest cafe!

I'm having mixed feelings right now...My ticker says 7 months, but not knowing if it will happen stinks. I think I will celebrate anyway...It IS hump day, afterall!:yay::laundy::grouphug:

Yes it is hump day and thank goodness for that.

So what's up with your trip?

Ugh, I need to get through today, feels like it is dragging me along.

So my sister applied for a job at Universal Orlando, and has gone through 3 phone interviews, yesterday they called and asked her to come down for an interview, they are paying her airfare, etc. I am happy for her, cause that would be so cool for them, and would also give me an option to stay cheap in Orlando, and probably get into Universal for free...sure will miss her though, if they move away.

Sounds like a really neat opportunity, and a big change from IA.

Airfare, and private school. When we booked this, we were planning on Air being around a thousand. I think we will bw very lucky to see it at a thousand....if it is much more, we won't be able to swing it. We are also looking into some private schools for the kids...they just aren't getting what they need right now, and of course that would mean no trip.

Good luck to her! Sounds like a great opportunity! Did you tell her she's interviewing for the wrong park, though???:rotfl2:

Yeah, Heather, but she disagreed. She *gasp* likes them better!!! So obviously there is SOMETHING WRONG with her... she's also the one who calls the SGC my "cult"... LOL

Howdy PEEPS!

31 days to go!:woohoo: I can check in May 11th.

Kristi-- & Brandi I mentioned to T last night about getting together at my hotel/pool if u guys want on 5/27-- that's our last night. I know it's Brandi's first. We're staying at the ASMU--- it is a very very very kid friendly place. Karoake, games, & movie every night. We can use all 6 pools at the AllStars if you guys want. Or somewhere else.

Today in honor of 4/20 day I'm getting my :cat:, Huckleberry, nuetered so atleast someone will be high today. :lmao:

Doing research for workplace violence. Our company is going to write up guidelines for us and it will probably spend to all of our offices. There are some creepy people out there.

Kristi-- G/l to your sister.

Heather-- about the schools. If you're thinking about switching to a private school and think money will be tight maybe you should just switch Chris at this time for middle and high school and worry about Martina when she hits those ages as well.

Kristi-- your sister is funny. The other mom of Stinkerbelle (I don't want to out her, she can do that :rolleyes1 )has a dd working at Universal in CA. We don't hold that against her either. :rotfl:

Mary, I agree, my sister is a little funny.

T and I were talking about the same thing yesterday, and talked about maybe either at ASMu or at FW for the campfire one evening, I'm pretty flexible on the subject of that either way. We are at ASMu for 5/25 and 5/26, moving to WL on the 27th. We requested Jazz Building for the 2 nights at All Star, which if we get it will keep us close to where you are, I think, as it looks like the family suites are all Calypso and Jazz, right? I wish they would release the schedules ahead of time, it is hard to plan without it.

Mary did you get my text that I switched Hotels to ASMu for the whole trip?

I'm game for the 25th & 26th by the pool and 27th do the sing a long...

Kat I have to agree with Mary.. Look on Craigs list or your local paper.. I'm sure you can find something. Its only you and the little ones so you don't need anything big.
I agree with both of you. The car will leave my hands sometime today(?), when they come get the title. And the little ones aren't so little any more. Jeff is taller than me & Krista is creeping up toward my chin pretty quick. It has been ...what 4 years...since you've seen them T. I do have my '95 Isuzu Rodeo still, and praying hard that that holds up for a while. I do love my stick shift!!

Heather, I so wish I could get the kids in private. I loved having the older 2 there and they did learn so much better and a ton more stuff. My younger 2 are so far behind though. But tell me, how can Krista get on honor roll for the 2nd time and still get way low grades on her Benchmark tests? Hers are better the third 9 weeks than the 2nd ones so she is improving slightly. :woohoo:

While I was at the DMV, turning in the car tags & getting the title, I did ask. You have to read the permit test in English and be able to read at a 6th grade level. Jeff is so gona have to get his act in gear to get his permit. I am getting the feeling though that he is content to wait until he is in 10th instead of getting early in 8th (which so wouldn't happen!).

Also, I don't have bag envy but would drool over that camera. It was good that Bill had to use the scooter, cause we could carry a lot of junk in it!!

And greetings to Kristi, Brandi, Mary, T, Heather and whomever else I missed. Sorry

Oh, I forgot to mention that Jeff has missed school since last Wed. He had the whole flu like symptons for 2 days & then Friday his fever broke and he was feeling "so much better, mom" and started eating. Made him rest Sat., Sunday we cleaned the Buick out with a little help from him. Later that night, the fever was back, low grade and his ear started hurting. By bedtime add a sore throat. Woke up Monday morning with what the doc calls "eye snot" where his eyes were stuck shut. Same on Tues, plus so tired.

took him to the doc, & found out that he has a sinus infection, ear infection and probable Strep. didn't test is since he was giving him an antibotic anyway. Had Chip take the scripts to the pharmacy....$215.00 for 14 pills!!!:scared1: Yeah, no. So after many calls, we get the good ole Amoxicillin horse pills. At least he can go to school tomorrow and get his report card. Oh... yea!! NOT!

Now Krista is starting up with it and the office has asked me if I am a carrier. Probably am, but who knows.:headache::rolleyes1

Kat, so sorry to hear about your sickies. That's absolutely no fun! Sounds like your existing car will work for the time being, so that's good. Yeah, I am SO not looking forward to Meag getting her permit next year either. And so far she says she DOES want to get it next year. We'll see how it goes. She can definitely read well enough (whether the state tests say so or not) but testing is NOT her strong suit either.

We had the Easter Bunny at School
