That's awesome! The FW campfire is nice because you get to meet Chip and Dale. They have bleachers for you to sit in. I think you can bring your own chairs or sit on the ground. They do some sing a longs then start the movie. The fire is on the side, you can either bring your own stuff or purchase it. The ASMu events start at about 2 they have a "changing of the guard" party--the lifeguards that are getting off dance with the kids, they usally do bingo, games, karoake, dance party, then a movie. People take the loungers up to watch on the blow up screen or sit in the pool--harder to see that way.T and I were talking about the same thing yesterday, and talked about maybe either at ASMu or at FW for the campfire one evening, I'm pretty flexible on the subject of that either way. We are at ASMu for 5/25 and 5/26, moving to WL on the 27th. .
No I didn't that's awesome, your kids are gonna be sooo happy. B & Ant will too.Mary did you get my text that I switched Hotels to ASMu for the whole trip?
I'm game for the 25th & 26th by the pool and 27th do the sing a long...
Glad to hear Jeff is better, poor guy. Hope Krista feels better soon. B does bad on tests. He knows his stuff, but is just not a test taker. We had it put into his IEP that he would have someone read the tests to him if needed. You should talk to Krista's team about her and tests, especially if that's the biggest thing holding her back. But tell me, how can Krista get on honor roll for the 2nd time and still get way low grades on her Benchmark tests?
Airfare, and private school. When we booked this, we were planning on Air being around a thousand. I think we will bw very lucky to see it at a thousand....if it is much more, we won't be able to swing it. We are also looking into some private schools for the kids...they just aren't getting what they need right now, and of course that would mean no trip.
Howdy PEEPS!
31 days to go!I can check in May 11th.
Kristi-- & Brandi I mentioned to T last night about getting together at my hotel/pool if u guys want on 5/27-- that's our last night. I know it's Brandi's first. We're staying at the ASMU--- it is a very very very kid friendly place. Karoake, games, & movie every night. We can use all 6 pools at the AllStars if you guys want. Or somewhere else.
And greetings to Kristi, Brandi, Mary, T, Heather and whomever else I missed. Sorry
Oh I wish we could meet up that night but we have graduation celebrations that night and Saturday night is our celebration dinner, with the MIL and FIL.
I will miss meeting you in person.
you know it would be funny that two people who live this close to each other would meet for the first time in Orlando...
Oh and I did think of Brandi..

Sorry T couldn't see ur pics, but ur not fooling me I know u are trying to up ur posts.
As of right now B is single again. There is a misunderstanding between him and the gf and she says she needs a break. He's upset about it, but she won't talk to him. GASP she changed her FB status so it must be official. Poor guy apparently ALL his friends and family read FB. He's embarrassed that people keep mentioning it. So what's a guy to do.......... apparently meet new girls at his school's Block party today.
Her so called bf keeps getting in between them. She told B's gf that B wants to go out with her. This isn't the first time she has done that to them. B has no interest in the bf, but if the gf doesn't know him by now. Ahhh to be young again. I was considering bringing the gf to Disney since she's never been, good thing we didn't ask her.![]()
Tell B him and Anthony can go pick up chicks while they are at DW.. Girls are nothing but trouble..![]()
Yeah, Heather, but she disagreed. She *gasp* likes them better!!! So obviously there is SOMETHING WRONG with her... she's also the one who calls the SGC my "cult"... LOL
YAY on the 31 days!!!Howdy PEEPS!

Heather-- about the schools. If you're thinking about switching to a private school and think money will be tight maybe you should just switch Chris at this time for middle and high school and worry about Martina when she hits those ages as well.
Cool! Martina has those PJ's!We had the Easter Bunny at School

We have college funds started, and if we leave them alone, they will probably be ok. It is tempting now, since they are there though, and we could use them for private school. I think I'd rather leave them alone, and find a way to make it work (even if it means no Disney till they graduate) Then again, Chris may not even want to go to college.UGHHHHHH
wow that is a lot going on right now. I am so glad that DS is out of College before DD starts.... We have a 529 for her that has enough funds thru junior year right now, so I feel pretty good about that but the going is the tough [art for her.
Sorry about the GF issues.Sorry T couldn't see ur pics, but ur not fooling me I know u are trying to up ur posts.

As long as the girls aren't from the same age group.Tell B him and Anthony can go pick up chicks while they are at DW.. Girls are nothing but trouble..![]()
If Martina doesn't need it you might consider holding out until middle or high school for her. Even if you don't think it will be that much more expensive. Private high schools are VERY expensive, but so worth it.Yeah...we are thinking about keeping Martina put for now....she is doing fine, it is Chris who needs the help (although at some, it really isn't much more for the 2nd child, so depending on where we choose, we may send both.)
We are still looking and deciding...he did a trial day at a Catholic school and loved it, but now they are saying they don't have the support services that he has in his 504 that he needs. The thing is, they are in the 504, but he isn't getting them anyway, so we are going to talk to them more after Easter and see.

That sounds awesome! I am having a hard time finding something like that here. Like you said, for HS, there are some, but not so much for Middle School. I feel that the smaller classes and more individualised attention they give EVERYONE, he will do much better, and may not need some of the things in his 504. Plus, he isn't getting any OT time anyway, and the other things in his 504 are just extra time to do the work, the ability to take a test in a smaller setting, etc.Heather-- also part of the reason we picked his high school was it was the only one that offered an all day "special ed classes". One of the other schools just planned to have him miss a "special" once a week so they could work with him.
Thing is he didn't need anyone to really work with him. What he needed was longer time to finish the work--even if it meant classwork turning into homework. And someone to read tests to him if needed. So consider that when looking into high schools-- not so much middle.
