As there are more postal strikes planned for late this/early next week, I think it might be a good idea to start sending out our pressies

Don't forget to wrap your gift with a message 'from your friend at the DIS' or similar (as it is a secret), and also please reply to this thread when you have sent or received your gift

Please, please, please post a photo of your gift when it arrives, as we all love to see what everyone receives

Oh gosh - time has flown by. My dad has spent the last 10 days in intensive care (at one point they gave him only a few hours to live ) so now he's on the mend i can turn my hand to the present exchange.
I promise to sort it and post it this week!

So sorry to hear that your dad has been poorly Katie. I'm so pleased that he's on the mend now. Don't stress about the exchange, not everyone is going to be ready straight away ~ just get it sent out when you've got the time

Now he is well and truly on the mend - he was moved to a general ward today - i can get all the other things sorted - its a good excuse to spend an afternoon in Bluewater!

And I now have the greatest respect for any ITU nurses - boy you lot are dedicated and skilled. My thanks to you all whoever you are and whereever you work.

I got mine I got a beautiful disney 2009 decoration I also got a minnie fairy tree topper its just too cute some chocolate coins and a yummy cinnamon candle I love my gifts thank you so much to my secret sender I was truly spoilt I now cant wait to put my tree's up ...
