SeaWorld Trip Report: Fun without DH

great trip report and really helpful as I'm planning to do SeaWorld later this year with my two kids and no dh as well; thank you so much!

I'm glad you liked it. I noticed there weren't many SeaWorld Trip Reports and thought it might be fun to do one.

You need to do one when you get back!

I will! We will be there for New Year's Eve too, so that should be interesting. I just don't want to brave the Disney parks for NYE. Hopefully SW won't be as bad. You gave me a lot of great tips for planning.

However, $7 for 3 fish to feed the dolphins. :scared1: I'll probably go broke at the dolphin tank. :rotfl:

Thanks for the trip report, it was just what I needed to read as we're trying to decide on either Seaworld or Universal for one day of our Disney trip. My kids are similar ages to yours (DD11 and DS 8). We are also not big thrill ride people. If you had to choose, which would your family prefer - Seaworld or Universal? Also, what are the must-sees if we had only one day for Seaworld? Thanks, Jo

Before the Simpsons ride I would have said we'd choose SeaWorld but after riding the Simpsons ride at Universal, I feel pretty confident that we would chose Universal over SeaWorld if we only had one day.

I'm putting together a Universal Trip Report on that board if you want to read it.

I found this tour plan and that was my starting place for SeaWorld.

Then I pulled up the show schedule and between the 2 I had a sorta plan in my head which we promptly ignored when we got there. :rotfl:

I'm glad the Trip Report was able to help. Have a great trip whatever you decide to do. :woohoo:
