Well this is my first ever trip report so please bear with me :)

I am also fairly new to the DIS boards and a first time adult visitor to all things Disney! I am hooked and ready to start planning our next trip.

To preface myself(27), my husband(28), and our two lovely girls Jayda(7), and Kendall(4) just got back from the most magical trip EVER! We started off our trip by visiting Sea World and staying at the Nickelodeon Hotel then onto a 3 night cruise on the Disney Dream, then zipped over to Caribbean Beach resort and hit up Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Bright and early after we had the locksmith remove the keys from our luggage inside the rental car we were off to Animal Kingdom. Our then very tired legs and bodies made it to the airport for the flight back home :sad1:

I will try to each day on separate reports.... like I said though I am new, but I really enjoyed reading everyone's trip reports and hope I bring some helpful tips and insight to someone.

Thanks for reading :goodvibes

FIRST DAY ~SEA WORLD AND NICKELODEON HOTEL~

So we started out this day by waking up at 12:30am and driving 3 hours to the Bradley International Airport. I knew this was going to be a long day! Luckily the girls slept all the way there. Before we boarded, one of the Delta employees gave the girls wings. My husband was excited about this because he remembers when he was given wings before his first Disney trip... I sadly have never received wings before :sad1:
The girls were very excited because this was there first plane ride! They fought over who was going to sit by the window and then we settled ourselves in for the ride. I napped most of the way while the girls played on the iphone/ipad and looked out the window. Our flight had a layover in Atlanta. I had booked a non stop, but Delta discontinued this service in November. I would never book a layover... it was such a pain in the butt with young kids. I was already looking forward to our nonstop with JetBlue on the way home!

We landed in Orlando around 11:30am and it was beautiful!!! We stopped at Alamo and was pleasently surprised to find a Nissan Pathfinder in the full size row :woohoo:

Now onto Sea world... I know... I know.... we are crazy to continue and not rest, but I was sooo excited to get it all in ;)
Sea world was by far the best experience besides the cruise. It wasn't too packed and it wasn't too big. We got there probably a little after noon and were able to see everything by 6:00pm when the parked closed. We caught two shows, The Blue Horizon and The Shamu Show(forgot the proper name) I will post videos and pics later! We did the pearl dive which was cool. I had bought dolphin cages on Ebay prior to the trip and they worked out great. They say my oldest's pearl was tinted blue which is the second rarest pearl... so they say :confused3 I was disappointed because we didn't see the Manatees (this was closed for some future attraction) and the Arctic was getting ready for the Polar Express exhibit. I guess we will have to return when we go back :rolleyes1

When we left the parking lot, we had the worst experience ever. My youngest daughter was having leg pains because of the walking. She often gets this at home when she is over tired. She screamed and cried for a good 15-20 min. while we waited in the parking lot. I gave her Tylenol and rubbed her legs until she was able to calm down. I was sad because she fell asleep on the way to the Nickelodeon Hotel and Suites. This was the only surprise I managed to keep from the girls and I was excited to show it to them. Jayda was excited when we pulled, but we carried Kendall in sleeping.

I was very impressed with this place. They opened our doors for us when we arrived and the employees were all very polite. We woke Kendall up when we got to the room because we hadn't eaten any dinner. She was happy when she noticed where we were. I asked if she wanted to go get dinner or rest in the room. She wanted to go dinner and couldn't be in a better mood... whew!!! I have heard so many bad reviews about this place, but we really liked it and would def. return. I liked this place better then the Caribbean Beach Resort. Oh well to each his own. We ate some pizza, checked out the arcade and mall area, and then FINALLY went to bed to get ready for our cruise the next morning :yay::yay::yay: We were all pretty excited!

Looking forward to more of your TR. We are going to Seaworld in May so please, lots of details, pics and tips!

I'm in!! I just visited Disney for the first time in March of this year so that is similar! Can't wait to read the rest of your TR!

We loved Sea world! I would def. go back on our next trip. It was big enough to have the whole day to explore, but small enough to just explore for one day ;)

I would suggest taking it slow and enjoying the animals. The shows are a can't miss. They really made the Sea world experience. I have a couple of clips from the two major shows.

oops looks like my other clip hasn't loaded yet.

Sorry so slow with getting to the rest of my trip report. I still don't feel organized and back to normal after coming home from our trip. I will get there :lmao:
