We are going on the Magic in April. We have a family of 12 and was wondering if they have dining tables that seat that many. I have been on the Wonder and Dream before but not sure how large they will sit together at one table??

Yes they have tables for 12, and/or can put two six-top tables together to make 12. It's rather hard to hear everyone at a table that large so you might be happier with two tables with the same serving team, and you can rotate people between the tables at each dinner.

We had a table of 14 on our last Magic cruise. Our kids were between 10-13 years old. They sat on one end while the adults sat on the other. It worked out well. If you had little ones it would be a little tougher.

We will be on the Fantasy, we are a family of 16, has anyone had a group this large that they have been able to all sit together or have they had to split the group into smaller tables. I know they would try to keep the tables close together, though it would be nice to all sit at one table.

Like JDB says, it's really hard to speak to your table mates in anything bigger than a 6-8 really. The people at each end will have no chance of chatting, but if that's what you prefer, then just ask. You may find that your meals may not all come out at the same time, but it will only be a small delay. For me, I'd have 2 tables next to each other.
