I am starting to plan our day at SW at the end of August. First time there and it will just be me and DS5. I wanted to know if the show seating was in the shade or not. I am trying to do some indoor things between 12-4pm when it will be the hottest, but we also need to fit in Believe, Clyde & Seamore and Blue Horizon shows, so I was going to do one or two of the shows in the afternoon. We only have one day there and it will be impossible to see it all although DS thinks we will.

Must do's are 3 shows, feeding the dolphins/stingrays, and spending some time in Happy Harbor. DS will want to go to Wild Artic, Penguins, Sharks and Manatees, but they can be quicker because they are walk thrus. Not sure if we will do it but we are going to try.

all of the shows do have some shaded seating, however to be able to get a good seat, its a good idea to go to the shows 20 mins to a half hour before the show starts.
a good thing to do during the hottest part of the day is wild arctic, where the belugas, walruses, and polar bears are, because it has very good AC. Penguins and the sharks are also AC.

If you have any other questions, just ask, i was there last week for the entire week at a camp and have seen and done everything the park has to offer, multiple times
