Seasonal AP holder

Does seasonal AP give you hotel discounts?
And are they better than florida resident rates?

Yes, the seasonal AP gives the same discount on resorts as a regular AP. But, with the seasonal AP you do not get a free parking pass for the parks.

I think the AP and Fl Resident rates used to be the same, but now that they have this best rate plan where you have to make your ressie months in advance and see what the best rate turns out to be, the AP rates have been ending up a few dollars cheaper than the Fl Resident rates.

Note: The comment above about the parking pass is only a factor if you're staying offsite. Resort guest all get free parking at the parks.

I called the main number and got a rate of 164$ for FL resident, and when I called the passholder line, I got a rate of 151$ for 3 nights at the campgrounds, preferred site.
