My sweet DH just went to Mikes at lunch and no luck there. And he reported that their Cricut carts are still $90.
My Jos is up north a ways, so I'll have to try there this weekend.

Do you know if it is okay to still use the pads if they are cracked. And should the cracked one be cut on or over top?

That is so funny. Because he called me from Mike's and said, how do you fit this mat in your little machine. Must have been the one for the press down Sizzix.

Anyway, I guess I'll just have to use the cracked pads until I find new ones. I have to get these slides done.

Jo's didn't carry any, no place for one either.
But luckily my Cord Scrapbook Studio had the Ellison ones. So I picke up two sets.
I can start on these as soon as my monthly one is done.

Can I ask a dumb question? Can I make the slide mount out of just card stock or does it need to be also made out of chipboard first? I was ready to make them and I got stuck before I even started. Thanks!

I'm doing cardstock as the base and then putting either pretty paper or textured paper on top.

Mini frames, mini shaker box, not sleeves for mine

I was totally thinking that "She's got Disney on the brain"! How funny. Once again, we have proven that great minds (like ours) think alike!

I was planning on doing 2 frames, but I have to try them out first. Maybe one will be a shaker. I haven't decided yet.

I'm doing mini frames for all of mine.. maybe shaker box for one set so that one will be one frame; one shaker... and than my 1/2 winter set will be a frame
