Search help. What are you tricks?

The search function HATES me. I know there are threads out there for info I am looking for but what am I doing wrong in my search? Anyone out there good at using search?

Please don't take it personally. The truth is, search here hates everyone!

No, not really. Actually it just doesn't work. Our boards have grown so big that we have outgrown the search software. Search is simply not capable of handling a database of our size. Our webmasters have been trying to find outside solutions they can bring in that could help but nothing workable has been found yet. Occasionally you can get some assistance from the search function but often those threads are older, so check the dates on them to make sure you are getting current information.

I like using google to search the boards for me.

Goto www.google.com, put in your search term and 'site:disboards.com'

eg - "million dreams site:disboards.com"
