Why is the search always disabled?

I'm guessing it just because too many posts and too many people. So I'm wondering if there's a way to limit the search by dividing the board up. The search would be helpful on some boards (tips, strategy, resorts etc...) but I think it is unnecessary on others (rumors, debate and maybe even community)

Also maybe there should be a separate board for all the games that are on the site (parks game, snake, etc...) These definitley don't need to be searchable. And don't seem to fit into any other category.

I'm guessing this can't be done or somebody would have done it by now, but I loved using the search, and finding answers to questions without having to post them.
