Last year, we were not able to make it to sw for all of the festivities, and I am determined to make it work this December!

My main question is, we will be there from 12/15-12/19, and I would like to stay until closing to experience al of the shows/lights etc.... Do they do the same on Sunday nights as they do on Saturday nights? Also, for those who have experienced sw around christmas time, what did you think? Thanks so much for any input!

Yes, any Christmas experience on a Saturday will be the same Sunday. If you go to the Seaworld Website, any day listed in November or December with an 11:00pm closing will have extra night time activities. Sometimes certain Christmas shows (Like the Fireworks show and ice skating show) won't be performed on days with a closing less than 11:00pm. However, no matter when in December you go, you will always get the decorations, a Shamu Christmas night show and a Sealion Christmas night show as well as the Polar Express experience. The weekends and 11:00pm closings offer that extra ice skating show and fireworks show and overall, more time to enjoy the festivities around the park.

As for the festivities, I thought it was a great memorable experience for the entire family. I really enjoy the Christmas themed shows and decor around the park!

I went last year, and I was really surprised at how they've stepped up the decorations and fireworks.
We went to the last ice show of the day (at the stadium that used to be used for water ski shows), and then you can just stay when the show is over and have great seats for the fireworks.

Some of the garlands with specific themes such a sea horses on the buildings are done very nicely!! I was surprised how nice some of the decorations looked at Sea World.
