:goodvibes We are going to Sea World in Jan. for 2 days and would love to know a few insider DIS tips!!!!
I know all about WDW, but Sea World is a different story! I went to Sea World in CA when I was a kid so that tells you how much I know now...
I have been reading threads and I am learning a little, but not too much.
So far I know to go ride Atlantis first and get fish to feed the dolphins, etc. before shows start.
When is the best time to go to the shows? Does EVERYONE go in the morning? What exhibits are busier in general?
TIA:)

Well everything is always really packed. I go about once a month.I can tell you get to the shows about 30-45 min early to get good seats. The best time to go to the shows is really anytime, but i have come to know that the last show of the day for the orcas is the best one because they do a lot of different behaviors.

Pretty much when we get there usually by 10 or 11 o'clock in the morning the park is really packed especialy if its a weekend.

The busiest attraction is dolphin cove. Whenever we go by it is it packed even if its feeding time or not. If you are feeding the dolphins i would do the first feeding of the day because the dolphins are hungry and they dont run out of food. When you do the last feeding they usually run out of food( because the dolphins already ate how many pounds of fish they need for a day). Also get in line for feeding 20-30 min because it usually is a long line.

Hope i helped you! if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

The lines in January are about the same as they are all year round.Usually Wild artic non moving one about 5-10 min moving one about 15 min. Kraken about 30-45 min. JTA will probably not be as packed as it usually is, but will still be a long line maybe like 30min. lately its been about 85-90 degrees so i wouldnt be surprised if it gets to be about only 70-80 in January.

Yeah, and the middle of Jan.? We will be there Jan. 12&13th:goodvibes

TIA!

Since you are going on a weekend it will probably be a little more packed.

What do you think New years Eve day will be like? Or would the 1st be better?

I have never been on New years but i would think that the 1st would be less crowded but if you go on New year night they will have some pretty fireworks.

Make sure to get to the Sea Lion show early to see the mime- he's very funny. And if you sit in a soak zone- YOU WILL GET SOAKED!!!

Thanks, I didn't even know about the mime. I think I will pass on the salty water shower though!:)

The mime is awesome. He is one of my favorite things about SW. I love the last Shamu show as well, it is usually the best one to see.
