Sea World 2nd day free question

Is that second day free have to be the next day or can I go on a Fri. get the voucher for a free day and not return until Sunday? Anyone know if this offer will expire?
In the event it expires and I bough a one day admission online can I upgrade at the parks like you can at WDW?

When we went in December, the original ticket we bought online had an expiry - had to be used before April 30th. The 2nd day free also had an expiry. It was 7 days after the first day you entered the park.

Seaworld seems to be very cagy about giving firm info on the 2nd day free program. I think they want to keep their options open... they think of it as a special promotional bonus they're giving you, instead of as a right you're purchasing with your ticket. But it's been going for a long time now and they haven't said anything about canceling it.

Thanks Northstar I'll keep this in mind. Where did you find your experation date on your ticket you bought online. I bought a ticket with the Pepsi code online and didn't see an experation I'm not going until October so I need to check my ticket well.

We bought ours with a special discount for Canadian residents, and the ticket said somewhere near the top (under the barcode-like thing) that we had to use it before April 30th. Maybe the Pepsi code ones don't have this? Also check in your email confirmation just to be sure!

BTW we loved Seaworld. Wish I could go back in October!

Suzy, we got ours at CAA...the tickets were at Par and I think they were only good until April...they did include the second day free (must be used within 7 days of the first day

Thanks for the info. I think this offer usually begins in the fall. So I will wait until fall/06 and then purchase them from CAA at that time.

Hi, Suzy. Go to www.atpar.ca and click on "Buy Tickets" to see what they're offering. The current offer is only good for admission until April 30th, same as the CAA offer. It's not exactly a real at par offer... you pay in US dollars based on a pre-calculated rate... but it worked out cheaper for us than what our local CAA chapter was offering in December. I suppose it also depends on whether your credit card charges a fee for any charge in a foreign currency, how far you have to drive to get to a CAA office... we can go nuts trying to figure out this stuff!

We bought 2-day tickets at the park July 2004. You did not have to use the 2nd day consecutive with the date of purchase.
