Sea Venture

I'm looking into buying my Discovery Cove tickets soon. And was wondering if adding Sea Venture on to the package would be worth my time?

I know I would go ahead and try it! I've done the Sharks Deep Dove at Sea World which is sort of similar and thought the whole experience was just awesome

We were at Discovery Cove the beginning of November. Let me first say DC is an amazing experience. Very close to WDW in terms of the park expericence, customer service, etc. We absolutely loved it! We did not do Sea Venture because my kids are 6 and 7. I saw people doing Sea Venture the day we were there, and it looked very cool. My kids were sad they were not old enough. You have a separate section of the Grand Reef for Sea Venture that is not accessible for other guests. I did not think much of it from the website, but was much more interested after seeing it in person.

We were there in October. We had an amazing time swimming with dolphins, enjoyed the whole day more than words can say! My oldest daughter, who is 16, wanted to the sea venture. She LOVED it! She had an amazing time, and it was cool for us to be able to watch her.

We did this is early Dec and love it. There were me, DH, and our2 DS. DD was too young. She waited for us and the team members actually brought her to feed fishes etc. very kind of them. As for the 4 of us, it was truly a once in a life time experience. So glad we did it. There were 3 guides with us. very safe. they even took photos for us with the olympus underwater camera that we brought with us and brought the sea snails etc for us to feel. It was low season so there were only 4 of us. Go ahead, try it!
