shipping info I found through CanadianGuy and it looks like there might be a fee for shipping to a convention resort. No idea what the cost is though. I might give them a call tomorrow to see what's up.
I have a Fed Ex account set up (free to sign up) so I can just get a return packing slip when I mail the box down and they bill my charge card when I send it home.

From the PO Box it is sorted into sections and then specific locations before it is delivered out to property. This can take quite a bit of time.

UPs, Fed Ex, DHL, any kind of courier service will deliver directly to the hotel. My suggestion would be to get the package ready and send it out about 7 days prior to your arrival (you can send it further out if you like they will hold it). If you give yourself enough time you can ship it ground service which is the cheapest.

As for who to address it to you would want to address it like this:

The name of the person who is the LEAD name on the reservation (may not be you, but it is easier to find that way)
C/O the hotel you are staying at/ Front Desk
The address of the hotel
And put HOLD for guest check in and the date (you can put the res # too if you want, but it is not really needed).

So it would look something like this

John Smith
C/O Disney's Wilderness Lodge Front Desk
Hold for guest arrival 4/02
901 Timberline Drive
Lake Buena Vista, Fl 32830

Here is a list of the resort address' (again this can ONLY be used for courier services, US Post office will not deliver to the property directly)

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort 1700 Epcot Resort Blvd.
Phone: 407-934-7000

All hotels are in Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 (Except Animal Kingdom Lodge which is Bay Lake, FL 32830).

LOVE the shirt design! :thumbsup2

Now a rookie question! Does each person have their own shirt made
or is there a company that will print them for us?

I love the design, it's so cute!!

I didn't participate with the DIS group in 2005, but I think everyone made their own shirts.

There are companies out there where you can set up a website (cafepress and Zazzle) and design your own shirts and have people go in and order them themselves and the get shipped right to you. I've done this with cruises I've gone on and the shirts and printing are high quality and last very long. The problem with doing something like that---and I don't mind adding products to the shop I have already from the last cruise---is the design can't have a copyrighting image in it, so the Mickey Mouse one wouldn't work.

You guys can take a look at what we did for the DVC Member Cruise in 2006. http://www.cafepress.com/ssmc06 If we can agree on a non-copyrighted design, I wouldn't mind putting some merchandise together. There's no profit made by me. That option is there, but I just price things at Cafepress cost. There's also lots of discount codes out there each month.

Diana are those screen printed or iron on?

We did the retro shirts ourselves but with the iron on material, it gets cracked and ratty after a few years.

Professionally screen printing would be nice but we can't have a Mickey on them since it has the copyright.

what to do???

They're screen printed, definitely a professional type quality.

Our shirts are about a year and a half old and they're still in great shape. I still wear mine and it's gone through the washer/dryer a lot.

hmmm, I'll have to think about this one. I wonder if we can use the design without Mickey. We would need to put something there, question is what.

A scrapper stick lady with scissors in one hand, a camera around her neck and mouse ears on? I don't know about the mouse ears being copyrighted so it might have to be the generic half circle with two other circles on her head?

I might not be staying at the YC. Does anyone know if I can ship something to a non-convention resort (like POR)?

You can ship to any resort. We shipped to AKL for our wedding. You still use the same guidelines that are posted above.
