Scrappy FE/meet gifts?

Hey Linda-
OT, but just wanted to let you know I still use the paper holder you gave out for our FE. It was the best! I used it during the cruise to collect the stuff. And now afterward, I use it for paper or projects. Thank you!

I need to know more about this paper holder, please. I always have so much stuff collected by the end of the cruise or any vacation actually.

Ladies, check the SDV, 2010 thread. I believe there are pictures of the table gifties that were given this year. All adorable. I am planning on scraplifting as little teacher gifts. :)

The envelope on the left side of this picture. It's clear (a little larger than 12x12 and expands a little) with a snap closure. She put a cardboard inside so that it was stiff and the things we put in it didn't get bent. I love that the cardboard was decorated too. Gives me a smile every time I look at it.

How do you leave something that large in the FE? They're not that wide, but I love the envelope idea. I have until next summer until our Dream cruise, but I've already started searching for ideas. Even bought the Mickey Font Cricut cartridge for inspiration.

It wasn't really an FE gift. There were 8 scrappers on this particular cruise, so we had a page swap. I did a page that looked like a french bulletin board, and gave them the embellis for the facing page. Since I knew we'd all be bringing home 8 pages, I put mine in the envelope so they'd have something to carry their pages home in. It was a SUPER swap - and gave us all a head start on our cruise albums. Everyone was SO darn clever:lovestruc

That sounds fun. Maybe I could do a smaller envelope, like 8 1/2 x 11 which might fit, or at least be close. I bring one along for all the navigators and such anyways. Target sells them (but they're opague, not clear).

Actually, the more I think about it - that WAS an FE gift, and not from me!!! My pages were packed in page protectors. That FE gift came from Glindamood - and it was specifically for the ladies in the page exchange - I think she left it propped on the floor under the hanging pockets.
