DH and I are are having a fairy tale vow renewal at the wedding pavilion this December and I'm so excited that I've already started to buy supplies ready to scrap my photo's!!! I've got a bit of a strange problem - is it weird to call us 'bride' :bride: and 'groom' :groom: as we're not actually getting married? I keep seeing really nice things like rhinestone word 'bride' that would look great on a B/W LO but half of me thinks the word doesn't really fit - what are your thoughts?

Congratulations. I would go ahead with the bride and groom wording because that is what you would be - a bride of "X" amount of years.

I would say yes, go for it...
We had our wedding at the courthouse, the only pictures are at the bar where we had our dinner afterwards.. When we renew our vows I want the big wedding (well, it'll be a small intimate wedding but all our munchkins will be there so I want to scrap the moment)... I plan on using Bride and Groom in our book...

thanks for the reassurance. I have bought a couple of B 7 G things but then thought I might be getting carried away and people would think I'm weird! What about the word 'wedding' as I'm struggling to find 'vow renewal'?

I would use the word wedding.. Maybe add in small lettering.. "Renewal" or "Renewing the Magic" (oh, I like that one since you are doing this in DISNEY, right?)

I know many husband after years and years and years together LOL who still call there wives their bride. I say go for it. And as well for the word wedding. Although so cool defination embellishments might be cool..... enev if you need to tweek the definition I am one who says go for it

thanks for your reassurance!

I love the 'renewing the magic' too princessnancy96 - might have to use that one!

I say Bride, Groom and Wedding are all allowed for a renewal! Have you seen the Cinderella wedding stuff? It's adorable!!!

I've started to collect the Cinderella stuff already in my 'wedding stash box' 'cos I really loved it and with my luck it will have disappeared closer to the time. I'm having as much fun collecting scrap stuff than the actual planning! We've booked a non-Disney photographer who is well know for taking loads of photo's (400+) so I'll have lots to choose for my scrapbook or maybe that should be scrapbookS.

Congrats!! first of all
I also Agree with the wording Bride and Groom
My Uncle calls all the women partners in the family "brides" even ones married for 50 Years!!
