Scrapbook

I haven't seen scrapbook paper or paper packs, but on all my past cruises they have had scrapbook kits (about $25 or so) that included the scrapbook, paper, stickers and cut-outs.

They have it on the ship and also at the World of Disney store in downtown disney. The kits are $15.00 each and include theme park paper/die cuts, etc along with some cruise paper and die cuts. Other than that they have beach themed disney paper at AC Moore with bubbles and the like on it.

Thanks! That's cool! I'm glad I saw this and didn't go out and buy plain Disney stuff ahead of time (in my excitement, that's something I would do) and then see the stuff specific to DCL on ship! I might have to make a run to downtown Disney, though, if I just can't wait! (we live in Tampa) :-)

p.s.
They also have some cute punches and stickers too, more selection at DTD than on the boat, but the prices were the same at either place.

JUst as an FYI, if you really want the pack, buy it early on -- on our last cruise, my dh forced me to buy it right away, and it was sold out by day 4!

The World of Disney store is so awesome for scrapbookers.....I am really into scrapbooking and I am so excited to get my Disney pictures back to start on my scrapbook!!!!!

Have you ever seen just an individual sheet for Disney Cruise Line? I was hoping not to have to buy the whole kit.
They only sell kits on the ship and at DTD. Nothing by the sheet. :sad1: You might want to try e-bay though. I have seen where people have split up the kits and sell single items out of them That might get a little pricey though. The kits sell for $15 on the ship and at DTD. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply. I found a place called mousememories.com that seems to have a good selection of Disney supplies, but I don't know anything about them personally. I didn't see anything for Disney Cruise line specifically though.

I only saw the kit on DCL and I was not impressed. I scrapbook a LOT for me and for others and couldn't bring myself to buy it. It did not seem very versatile to me, the style was too, I don't know, retro or something. I know the ship is going for the whole art deco thing, but I thought the kit was way to limited. I even tried to convince myself and couldn't justify the expense b/c I knew I'd never use it.

I did, however, get lots of scrapbook goodies at the World of Disney store (with my AP discount)

I have ordered a few times from mousememories & have been very happy with their prices & shipping. :) I prefer their papers to the ones that are the DTD scrapbook store. I actually liked the DCL 2005 kit & bought one at half price last month.

Wow...our DTD store out here doesn't have really any scrapbook stuff. I few little things here and there. You are lucky!

There is an entire store at DTD just for scrapbook supplies. After seeing your work on the boards, I am sure that you would have a ball! :)

You're talking about the scrapbook store at Downtown Disney in Orlando, right?

Don't forget the cardbox protectors that your ship's pictures will be placed in. I have used many of those as picture frames and logo's. My motto is If I can't buy it I'll figure out something to scrap for it. Don't forget dinner menus and napkins make great add on to your pictures. Keep your room keys also to add to your pictures. Also if you get a good picture of your family with the logo in the background you can scan and paste in a digital scrapbooking program from walmart(which works well and I found to be fairly easy.) :cool1: Last time I was at Disney I took close to 600 pictures I have only 410 (so far) placed in Scrapbook and will be working on those before I do my cruise pictures lol. Postcards or letterheads with the ships logo works also. Keep your nagivators too, great for the scrapbook. also keep in mind a calender if available is great also. good luck to you while scraping and happy scraping to everyone else too.

We have a World of Disney store out here, but all they have are some stickers and other little stuff. I would love it if they would put a whole store in of scrapping stuff. I'm going to keep my eyes out for one!

There is an entire store dedicated to just scrapbooking supplies in DTD??? I MISSED it!!! *@#! it!!! :teeth: Guess I will have to look for it on our next trip down there. Where is it located near? We just made a quick stop there after cruise and only went to World of Disney store and a train ride for DD!
