Scrapbook

Hey I saw on somewhere either Ebay or Expedia that they actually have scrapbooking cruises ... leaving from California. I got like so excited!!! My daughter just laughed at me. Disney really should think of adding a scrapbooking class to their cruises I betcha it would have HUGE turnover!

jweiss, where are you in Northern CA? I'm in San Jose. Ask and you shall received...kinda. My favorite local scrap book store, Picture Passion, in campbell, Ca is doing a scrapping cruise. & I'm going with my sister to scrao our Dec'05 cruise!!!! It's a St Pat's weekend in March '06. I think Encenada, Mexico. Isn't that sad, I'm not ever concerned with where I'm going just happy to cruise and scrap for an entire weekend!!!

pm me if you want some more info on the cruise, or if you think you'd like to scrap together sometime.

Nan....we're close....I'm in Concord!!! I PM'd you..... I'm gonna call your store right NOW!!! Thanks!!!

OMG! LOL! I am just happy to spend a few hours at our local store cropping every other week on double punch day. :) I just used two of my filled cards to pick up two cute Mickey scrapbooks to use for our 12/06 cruise. :)

yes I admit that I'm a nut about scrapping and Disney and when you put them together watch out :faint:

jweiss I caught you're from Concord, sorry I read my pm before I read the post....

I have ordered a few times from mousememories & have been very happy with their prices & shipping. :) I prefer their papers to the ones that are the DTD scrapbook store. I actually liked the DCL 2005 kit & bought one at half price last month.

What do you think of my idea? I don't really think I want to have a pillowcase signed - not sure what dd would really do with that. Doesn't excite me for some reason. I'm going to get them autograph books to carry around for when we see characters on the ship. (These are cute http://www.disneyautographbooks.com/Books). But for the big scrapbook I'm going to make of our trip, I'm thinking of leaving with guest services a baggie full of little white pieces of paper and different colored sharpies. Then, when I make the scrapbook, I can put each autograph (or hopefully most of them) by a picture of that character. So how many papers do you think I need and how big do you think they should be??

Thanks!

I like your idea, but you might be able to get those siggie on the ship when you see the characters. I used slips of paper on our cruise since we have so many books.

Here is the list of who signed our white hats (like the one Gillian wore):

Mickey & Minnie
Hook & Smee
Peter Pan & Wendy
Aurora, Snow White, Belle, Pocohatas,
Stitch
Goofy
Donald & Daisy

By special request Ariel, because she only make an appearance in one show, never on the ship. (I was sad about this fact)

You can request who you want to have sign whatever, if they are on the ship they will try to accomdate your request.
