My sparklers have arrived!!!! I plan on putting them in a purple vase that I bought at a second hand store for $1! I also made a sign to put on the table.

The vase after I added ribbon:

I am thinking it's a good idea to light them with candles like in the picture that way no one has to mess with matches

Such a wonderful idea with the fireworks!! It's going to be so beautiful!! I saw it done once and absolutely loved the idea! And the sign is adorable! It all fits your theme so well!!

LOVE the Newsletter! What a good idea! I would totally use it if I had bridesmaids!!

That sparkler idea is sooooo awesome!! I want to do that!!! My venue has some rules about sparklers, I will have to look at those again! But LOVE it!!!! Do you have something to put the sparklers in after? Like a bucket of water or something?

More great ideas, as always! Love the bridesmaid newsletter, I think I will do one of those! I especially liked the little "Did you Know?" aside. I actually had heard that before but I still think it's funny! And just the little touches like that make it really nice.

And I bet the sparklers will be beautiful, what a fun idea.

I didn't order my sparklers yet, where did you order tours from? I need at least 250-300. =X Yikes!

I have also seen people use this idea for their guests as well, they are really good for destination weddings to keep everyone informed of the days events

Some venues are tricky about sparklers, I actually thought it might be a problem at ours, but the director of our venue said it was ok thank goodness. I actually didn't think about having a bucket of water nearby, lol. It says on the packaging to dip them before you dispose...thanks for the idea I will have to go out and find something to do that with.

Thanks! I got the frame at TJMaxx!!! My home away from home They have tons in different sizes and colors I got my sparklers from Say Anything Design http://www.sayanythingceramics.com/sparklers.php?act=show_image&htm_file=sparklers_20.htm I got the 20 in. sparklers since the website says if you have less than 150 guests it's a good amount. The cost was $30 for 72 of them, the cheapest I had seen at many websites. I heard another good site is this one as well http://www.sparklersonline.com/

So I was cleaning today and I found about a million and half boxes of wedding stuff!!! I had never seen it all at one time before I almost fainted. I don't know what I will do with it all when I am done, I guess I could sell most of it, I guess I didn't realize most of my net worth was wedding related these days!

Ok so I just had a little bit of a bridezilla moment. Here's the story. I put in an reserve for bridesmaids dresses back in August online through an online bridal company and I let the girls know that they had to order them by October so they would be in on time. Well bascially no one ordered by the correct date. One ordered the day after the deadline, one ordered in December and two ordered this month. I had a feeling this would happen so I set the original order by date of October so they would come in early, because I had a feeling that no one would order on time. Well since only 4 had ordered out of the 6 the lady from the company called me and said basically that they were missing 3 orders and that if they didn't order by this Friday they wouldn't get their dress until two weeks before the wedding! So I had a little panic attack, but I collected myself. I then explained to the woman that I have been at them for months trying to get them to order and if the three haven't that's ok I will call them and let them know if they don't order by Friday they can't be in the wedding because their dresses won't be in on time and frankly I was tired of beating a dead horse. As long as some of them had them I was ok Then the lady tells me, "Vicki, this is a bulk order, we haven't sent in the order yet because we were waiting on the last three orders from your girls." I started freaking out to say the least. Not one dress had been ordered yet, so I called everyone who hadn't ( 2 girls) and explained the situation. But, then I started thinking...3 missing orders? There should only be 2 from what I was told. So I called all three girls that weren't accounted for by the company. The first one said not a problem I will put it on my credit card tomorrow The second one said, "Vicki, I thought I told you I was ordering here in town." I was like are you kidding me no you didn't tell me, so this whole time she had been procrastinating because she was ordering on her own and she thought she still had time!!! She gave me this big excuse of how she has to work and go to school so she doesn't have time to deal with this right now. I am thinking I am in school, planning a wedding, and working. I don't get it, the deadline was in October there really is no excuse, so she basically told me to call her back tomorrow night and she'll let me know. I thought that was the worse of the situation...well it gets better...I had Scott call the third girl who is his 15 year sister and whos mother (my FMIL) supposedly ordered her dress already. FMIL tells him that they ordered in town why isn't anyone telling me these things??? He asked her how much did you pay, and she said almost $40 more than if she would have just ordered it the way I told her, apparently the sales lady told her it wasn't safe to buy online and charged a crap load more! I had Scott ask her why she didn't call me and she said "Sorry, I didn't know I had to." So basically everyone did their own thing thinking it would be ok and didn't let me know what was going on and now the girls' dresses are scheduled to arrive late because of 3 people and they all face rush charges, I don't get it I did everything, but go online and order for them, (which I had to do for one of the girls because she didn't "feel" like ordering herself) Anyway, I need some kind words please very stressful day...

Awww Repeat after me. It is all going to work out. It will be ok. There's always going to be some stressful times during the planning process. You'll see it will all work out in the end. They will all have their dresses and your wedding will be as beautiful as you imagined
We will all get through our crazy bride moments

I am jk... but that is no good! Hopefully you can get the orders in before they have to be rush ordered!! You would think FMIL would tell you she ordered the dress in the store- not to mention why would you tell her to order it online if it was "unsafe?"

Haha... I am a control freak- so I probably would have just asked for their sizes and ordered them myself..

It will all work out! Don't worry!!

I contacted my bridesmaids about a month ago with the info on the dress, and I haven't heard anything from any of them about whether they ordered it or not. Except my sister, who is putting off ordering as long as possible because she's on a major weight loss program. And I know she'll definitely order it on time because she's a teacher and super organized and responsible. The others - they have a little time, but I don't like to take chances!

Thanks. I don't know what's the deal either. I dont know why some of them committed to the wedding if they can't afford it or don't have the time for it. All I can say is keep on your girls about getting their dresses to avoid major headaches later.
